Inderkum High School

This was my high school from junior year to senior year! It kind of looks like a prison indoors, but the good thing about it is that on rainy or windy days, the weather will not affect the students during passing periods or during lunch. I must admit that some of the teachers (not naming any names) are just lazy and/​or do not how to teach, but Inderkum holds promise in many of their teachers. For example, Mrs. Dills is an amazing english teacher. She is the reason why I am such a bookworm today and why I excel in English. Mr. and Mrs. Pitts are an amazing teacher/​couple-​duo. Mr. Pitt’s personality really cultivates students into becoming leaders of their own lives and through his leadership class, he really teaches students how to be leaders of their own lives and their own destiny. As for Mrs. Pitts, she is a wonderful English teacher who really loves her students (I can say the same for Mrs. Mathews! I did not personally have her as a teacher but from what I heard she is a great teacher as well). Mr. Hamasaki is funniest and down-​to-​earth P. E teacher ever. The sports teams at Inderkum are really well-​off. I was captain of tennis team for two years and we won silver (second place) right after Yuba in the finals! All of the coaches really care about the students and not the money they make from it. My heart really goes out to Mr. Martinez (our tennis coach). I miss him so much. Lol. I could go on and on about Inderkum, but needless to say I was happy my two years there. I learned so much from my AP classes and even passed my AP tests, therefore receiving AP credit for university. I always reminisce about my high school days and memories and it has always been pleasant. Never bad at all.

A few years ago, this place isn’t what it is today. Today it is a place where students and everyone belong. We know we can’t save everyone, but at Inderkum, we do try our best. Here’s what we are offering to help the students:
PSAT and SAT as part of the mandatory requirements.
They got Kaplan and friends of the LIBRARY to help and now KAPLAN helping with free SAT/​ACT practice test on JAN 25^th at the NORTH NATOMAS LIBRARY.

Because they believe that what they have should be free and accessible to all students, tutoring is provided in the atrium.
There are many great things about Inderkum. Its is no longer going to be a place that PRINCIPALS died, it is the place where people thrive.
There are many things to check out at the school, but if you get the chance, come and watch the JV BASKETBALL team, they are love in motion! They way they played, you know that their coach (es) had them practice these drills so many times because it is effortless!!!

The school is always changing principles & staff, that’s why we can never get any better. The teenagers are they’re to learn education & the teachers need to remember that. Friday school is so long & boring that kids rather get suspended. Inderkum needs to stick to a plan & imrove every year instead of starting over every year & getting no where.
