Holy cow I cannot say enough good things about this business!!! Our main house unit stopped cooling. I had another group come out and said a leaky coil, and for a 16 SEER mid-​range replacement, $ 8600. Something didn’t feel right so I looked I got a trusty neighbor recommendation for a second opinion, and called A&D. Dale (owner) picked up the phone and given the busy HVAC season, I was hoping he would come out the next day… he was at my house in 45 min (before I or my wife got home!). He confirmed the leak in the coil, provided options for fixing, and explained why a 16 SEER wouldn’t benefit us over a 14 SEER (our furnace would’ve had to be replaced, too, as it cannot handle the extra air flow). He put some coolant in our system to help keep our 16 month old baby cool until he came back out 1 day later to replace the system. A new coil and AC Unit (nice 14 SEER Rheem) installed in less than 2 hours, for $ 3500. AMAZING. I almost wanted him to replace the other unit just because. Seriously. When I asked if I should have him come out to «service» the other unit, he said «Is it cooling?» I said yes, and he said «then you’re good… wait ’til it dies. I can make stuff up about it pulling a charge or being off a few degrees, but I can’t do anything about it, so why spend it now.» I begged him not to quit the business before my other AC unit quits the business, and said I hope to see him back in a few years to replace it. Please give him your business. You will not regret it. He is truly one of the «good guys.»

Dale was spot on. He was here when he said he would be, he fixed my A/​C, and he gave me solution options for any future problems. He showed me areas I should watch to head of potential issues. Most of all, his prices were fair. I would recommend A & D Heating & A/​C to my neighbors.

Called A&D Heating and Air to schedule a system tune up and technician (Dale) showed up on time and was very professional. He took the time to explain what he found and gave me options to fit my budget. He topped off the Freon and cleaned the outside units. I highly recommend this company.

Our AC went out on a 100 degree summer day. Since we have American Home Shield I called them first but they could not get anyone out or at least 24 – 48 hours. We have 2 children who would not be able to wait it out so I called A & D. I called them at 9 am. They told me they would be out between 1 – 3 pm. Well at 10:30 am I received a phone call that Dale had finished up his work early and would come by now.
It is now 11:06 am and Dale just left. I have two happy boys running around in a cool home thanks to A & D.

Dale is very honest when pin pointing your problem with your unit. My unit was not cooling and I had a tech from another company check my unit and said it was my freon which was not true. Dale came out and found out it was my coil which Lennox is very proud of and is cheaply made and only has a five year warranty. My unit was only 8 years old and did not know if my outside unit would do the same. So we decided to go with replacing it and Dale gave us a good price compared to other company’s. I always will call A&D when I have problems and will tell others to go with them. Now I don’t have to worry about this summer being hot thank you.

A broken/​dangerous furnace issue on a cold day… not fun! Called Dale, and he was prompt in coming over to diagnose the issue. He explained the problem and recommended several solutions to fit my budget. His crew came the very next day and quickly installed my new furnace.
Dale exudes professionalism and integrity without being the least big «salesy.» This guy knows his stuff. He is also very current and knowledgeable about product trends & quality as well as government regulations.

Living in Texas you better have a good AC guy or your could end up in one of those situations where you are in 100+ degree temperatures with no way to cool down. Dale at A&D is that guy. He is fair, honest, fast, and knowledgeable and always does a great job. He serviced our AC units and installed my new one when the old one finally bit the dust. He has been there for us more times than I can count in the last 14 years and I would recommend him to anyone.

My A/​C went out on a day with the temperature over 110 degrees. It was 85 degrees in my house. I called the people that installed our system, but they couldn’t come for several days. I remembered A and D servicing our rent house, so I called them. Dale said he was busy, but he would squeeze me in and would be over in a few hours. He came, he fixed, he went, lol. He is a man on the move. He was extremely professional and the price was much less than I thought it would be. His nice wife called me to tell me he was on his way and said we should have called the night before. I was so happy to feel cold air blowing again! Thanks, Angela and Dale!
