History

Established in 2005.

Rock Island Sound Rye, opened its doors in September 2005, and it has been open ever since, not easy to do these days! Recently a second location was added in Tarrytown about 15 minutes West from the Rye store. We look forward to continuing our superior service at both locations for many more years.

A rock, blues, classical guitarist, pianist, bassist, composer and arranger Argentine born Paul Bessolo and his team of professional instructors bring over 25 years of experience and an impressive cadre of talents to his studios, schools and stores. From beginners to the modestly talented to the expert, Paul makes learning to play musical instruments both fun and challenging for all ages.
