A general home inspection is a non-​invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential or commercial property. It is the goal of the inspection to put a buyer in a better position to make a buying decision by identifying defects within specific systems and components that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector. The inspection will not reveal every issue that exists and is not a prediction of future conditions, but only those material defects observed on the date of the inspection. The inspection should not be considered a guarantee or warranty of any kind.

History

Established in 2009.

Coastal Home Inspection was created to provide the buyer in a real estate transaction with the confidence of a sound purchase. As a husband and father of two small children, I know the importance of a safe and comfortable place to call home. My wife Terry and I were both born and raised in mid-​coast Maine and chose Rye, New Hampshire as the place to raise our family. Along with many other local self-​employed people, there is a special work ethic and attention to detail that sets us apart.
