I don’t know what we would do without Make It Sew! Jennifer is a true artisan. She has altered so many items for us in the past two years it’s hard to keep track. She has done everything from simple hemming to really complex fitting of formal gowns for both my daughter and me. Her prices are reasonable and her work is top notch.

Make it Sew is Awesome! The owner, Jennifer is very sweet and on point. Dropped my jeans off at 10 am, they were done and ready to be picked up at 3pm! (*note, I was told 1 week from time of drop off, so this shouldn’t be the expected turn around time)
Great craftsmanship, inexpensive, and friendly service. She made sure I was happy with what I got, and I am. Recommend to all!

I can not say kind enough words for how grateful we are to Make It Sew– They saved my sister’s wedding!!! I surprised my sister with a wedding dress the day before her wedding– but it needed to be hemmed and the waist made smaller– Make it Sew did the alterations in less than 18 HOURS!!! We were beyond please with the results and we really appreciate them taking us on so last minute! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! This is the place to go for alterations!

I rely on Jennifer for all my clothing alterations. Her work is top notch. She recently altered a fitted Tahari suit for me with complicated pleats and lines, and now it looks like it was made for me.

I brought in jacket to have a zipper replaced when my dog chewed on it and took some teeth out of the zipper and Jennifer did a fine job. She looked at the jacket and set my expectations appropriately about what could and could not be done. I was fine with her summary of the situation and happy with the end result. She even took the old zipper tie off the old zipper and put it on the new one, a special touch I appreciated.
