History

Established in 1977.

Hawley’s Florist was started in 1977 by Bonnie and Robert Hawley in historic downtown Rutland, Vt. The full service florist shop was opened to provide the freshest flowers with a large inventory of varieties, blooming and green foliage plants, gifts, and delivery service worldwide.

Exceptional service and high quality have always been extremely important, and also with creative design.

Bonnie had extensive experience in the floral business and a BS degree in Horticulture that helped grow the business quickly.

Bonnie has always believed in continuous learning about design, care and handling of flowers, better use of technology, and mentoring employees in all aspects of the floral industry.
