Had gotten some pant alterations done and they were perfectly. On this visit, my suit jacket was stained heavily with oil… an unfortunate occurrence in the kitchen, and they got it looking good as new. Just be sure to indicate exactly where the stains are and they’ll mark them up.
A good trip that saved me from trashing a suit.

:sigh: It seems impossible to find a reliable dry cleaners in the Rutherford area. I can appreciate Union D.C. because they definitely got some tough olive oil stains out of my silk blouse and shorts, so hooray for that! AND they listened when I asked them to fold my knits rather than hang them. However, apparently they weren’t listening when I asked for no safety pins, annnnnd 6 out of 10 items came back still smelling (how can I say this without embarassing myself…) «less than fresh?» I will be taking them back tomorrow, so hopefully their customer service is better than their scent-​removal skills.
