I don’t get it. I read the reviews and decided to come give it a try. The only way to rate this place four stars is if you’ve never had any burger other than Burger King or McDonalds. If that’s your type of burger then by all means eat at Griff’s.

Food was probably the worse fast food I have ever gotten. Service was slow. This is an old run down restaurant located close to Louisiana tech university. I was told that the students come there for their milkshakes and that’s all. No food.

OMG! Well, let me get started. The appearance is pretty daunting, but when you go inside, it is cleaner than one would expect. Enough about appearances. DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. Well I got a #1 which is a double stack hamburger with all the essentials that comes with a freaking huge drink and fries. I love it sooooo much! The fries were sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! I could eat those fries for the rest of my life, seriously. Then get to the burger. UMMM! I can not explain it. The best I can say that it will make you cry? Yea, crying will happen. I was literally weeping because I have never tasted a burger that was so delicious in my life. Don’t make me remember it, because I will get depressed again…

Ruston’s hidden gem. The true «greasy spoon». It’s «hidden» because it’s on the south side of town next to the campus of La Tech. Great burgers and shakes. Can take a while during lunch rush hour. Requirement that you eat here at least once while you live in Ruston.

I went to college around these parts and man oh man did I love a greasy burger from this joint. Every time I go here I get the monster burger with three stacks. It’s so on point. The place doesn’t look up today inside one bit. All original stuff it seems like. Fries are good but once they get warm they are garbage. The staff is like any other place you go, fast food of course. I wouldn’t eat this stuff everyday but I go here when I’m in town visiting. If u want a burger that will hit the spot forget the Arch and go to Griffs.

This is very near the LA Tech campus. I was heading out of town from Ringgold back to Atlanta and stopped here for lunch. I used the drive-​through so I cannot comment on ambiance, etc. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo sub onion rings for fries and a diet Coke. The food was top notch and the window person could not have been friendlier. Great burger; shred iceberg (not that single shitty piece of green leaf lettuce) sliced tomatoes, diced onion and slice pickle with mustard. Meat and cheese were hot, veggies cool — perfect. O-​rings were served too hot to eat and the diet Coke was not watered down. Pretty simple actually — why can’t all burger joints do this?

Griffs has the best burgers in ruston hands down. The facilities are aging a little, but that can be overlooked because of the delicious food. I definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the mood for a good burger at a good price
