History

Established in 1982.

I started out running a Road call service with 1 truck and myself. In 1987, I bought my first OTR rig, and started trucking, but keep my Road service business going. In 1993, I joined the Landstar Group as a small Fleet owner and Agent. After my Freight Business broke loose, I got off the Road to Manage the Road service, Trucking, Freight, and I also had a Local Dump Truck service and was putting in Driveways. In 2005, I opened moved my Operation to Ruskin, FL, where I added a Marine service and repair shop, Towing and Recovery, Vacation Rentals, and Scuba diving and Recovery to my Enterprises.

I have grown my business’s to the point where «most» of my days run smooth and I have great people working with me that I depend on dearly, without them, I would still be a small guy in a big World.

Business Owner

I grew up with the smartess man on Earth, James M.B. Adams, my Father. He was, and still is, the hardest working person I know. I had a Mother that told me that I could have and do whatever I wanted, as long as I had the strive to do so.

They both have been there for me through thick and thin, and I could never thank them enough.

My son, Ricky Jr., has worked for me and with me through the years, and I contribute my large success in the Freight Brokerage to him.

I have had more downs than ups in building my business’s, and it is due to my Mom’s philosophy You can do it, you can handle it, talks that have kept me strong and going.

And last but not least, I have beautiful Grand children that will keep me working hard forever. I want the best for all of them, and if I have anything to say about it, they will have it!
