Brown Play School

Both of our children have attended preschool at Brown Play School and we couldn’t be happier with their experiences. The teachers are very skilled and have a lot of knowledge of preschoolers’ development and learning styles. They are also compassionate and kind – they are the kind of teachers you want your children to have during these important first years of school. Brown Play School is a special place where, in addition to learning the abc’s and 123’s, children benefit from a full-​time art program, the greenhouse, woodworking center, music and even yoga. The children learn everything from planting flowers to building their own wooden toy. In addition to being a dynamic and creative preschool with so much to offer, there is also a focus on building relationships and community. Our family has made many friends through Brown Play School and we are grateful to the BPS family for enriching not only our children’s lives but also our family as a whole.

Our oldest has had a wonderful experience here. This is truly an awesome Reggio program for 3 & 4 year old children in the Providence area. Great value with excellent engaged staff, art studio, music, yoga, greenhouse, science, carpentry, and of course — plenty of constructive play.
