Sunrise Recovery Ranch

My stay at Sunrise Recovery Ranch was by far the best and most beneficial experience of my life. I arrived desperate, broken, and vulnerable, as I’m sure we all are when we are finally able to reach out for help. Not only did I get sober in a safe and supportive environment, I joined a safe and supportive community that I will always be part of and that will always encourage my recovery and give me the accountability that I need. Sunrise makes recovery fun in ways I never thought possible. While in treatment we took place in a lot of outside activities such as softball, bowling, and going to movie theaters. (Sober bowling! Who would have thought?!) Now that I am an alum I can still participate in most of those activities as well as join mealtime and in-​house meetings on Alumni Days. Recovery is all about fellowship and you will find that at Sunrise. I still talk to clients and staff every day. I can’t lie and say it’s all sunshine and lollipops because treatment is by no means easy and some of the people I grew to love as my own family have not stayed sober. But they are always in our hearts and we will be waiting for them when they are ready to explore the fellowship once again. Personally my withdrawal was very difficult. Physically I was a mess and my thoughts and emotions were like a roller coaster. But that would have happened regardless and I was grateful to have a safe medical detox around people that had or were going through similar things, other clients as well as staff. I was able to get sober and Sunrise taught me the skills I need to stay sober. I am now working with a sponsor, attending meetings every day, and I am part of an intensive outpatient program for cognitive and behavioral therapy. There is no magic recovery wand and there will be massive bumps along the way, but with Sunrise I know that I will always have people in my corner to support me and that really want to see me succeed. Sunrise is the best rehab I’ve been to. The staff were great. That still cared about you and serious about there recovery. If your looking for a rehabilitation to change your life I recommend sunrise. Sunrise gave me another opportunity at life and to get my family back. I really appreciate sunrise and there staff. I went in on December 10, 2015 I had the most amazing experience there I am so happy that I picked sunrise recovery ranch I was there until January 13, 2016 34 days thank you sunrise for all the support love and care great food I miss you all thank you so much for my new life that I have gained February 22, 2016 72 days sober and I’m going strong thank you sunrise and all the staff member for helping me to gain my life back.

Sunrise Recovery Ranch quite simply put, changed my entire life. It was the place I was finally able to get sober.
Nestled in the stunning sunny Southern California foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, at first sight stepping out of the car, the vista was breathtaking. The lush green rolling hills encompass 13-​acres with numerous, pleasurable, comfortable, state-​of-​the-​art facilities.
There’s plenty of food to eat to get you back on your feet here. The talented chefs make sure no one goes hungry. Even if you don’t feel like eating, the alluring meals make it hard to resist.
I found the living arrangements to be quite serene, safe, clean, and with plenty of elbow-​room.
The outings and activities were excellently well thought out and organized. I was pleasantly surprised when we took the time to go to the beach, and even a world renown art museum.
The real heros here are the staff. With a laundry list of qualifications and awards, Sunrise Recovery Ranch really took great pride and effort to work with every patient individually, as well as in a group setting, that I encountered. They were friendly, listened well, were quick to act, and I could tell they really empathized with my plight.
With really no where to turn and out of options, I very much needed help transitioning from SRR. The over-​qualified clinical staff went above-​and-​beyond to find the perfect fit for my next step in recovery. My case manager personally drove me to my final destination of Palm Springs. I now reside in an upscale neighborhood, have a job, and my recovery is solid. I was truly blessed to have been able to work with SSR. Not only am I sober, I am spiritually sound and happy.

If you are thinking about going to sunrise recovery ranch, all I will say is, do it!
Going to SRR is the best decision I have made for my life so far, I feel like a completely new person in the very best way possible. The staff there is soooo amazing, the place has a friendly, homey, family type of vibe to it. It’s comfortable and chilled. They will help you get through your detox and provide you with support and tools to better clean and sober life for yourself.
The people actually care about you and stay in contact with you and help you out with whatever they can even long after you’ve gone. I am so blessed and grateful to have found this place, I wish you all the best with your recovery.

Sunrise ranch is the best thing that could of happen to me. The staff are so professional. They are loving and caring for they’re clients. I would recommend this treatment center to everyone. I wouldn’t be who I am today without sunrise ranch. I’ve made a family there. I never thought people could care about me so much. Going to Sunrise Recovery Ranch saved my life. I have been to five rehabs, and I never once felt the relief and peace and hope like I did at Sunrise. The first thing you notice at sunrise recovery ranch is the beautiful peaceful ranch and property that the rehab is on. You have a view looking out on the mountains and this place just gives you the best sense of peace and serenity
What makes this rehab special is the supportive optimistic and caring staff. You can really tell The staff careand they love their job because they sincerely want to be there for the clients and they go out of their way to make sure that the residents have the support they need. Tracy my case manager is amazing! And Brittanie who was my therapist at Sunrise helped me to overcome underlying issues and was always very supportive
Sunrise recovery ranch also makes sure that the residents enjoy their stay, because sometimes being at rehab can be dull and boring. ButOnce a week they take the residents to an outing which is always really fun. On the weekends all the residents get together and hang out and when I stayed at sunrise recovery ranch I got to build relationships that were meaningful.
Everything about Sunrise Recovery Ranch is amazing and The number one thing that was the best part of this place was that for the first time in my life I felt peaceful. This place saved my life and I graduated the program and have stayed sober since. I never thought that I could get clean but something about this rehab really changed my life.

Please do ur homework. Don’t listen to one person saying it was great. Las Encinas is amazing and they don’t do meetings in a garage. They say they have an international chef. Which is just a Mexican guy cooking greasy shitty food. Plus they make u clean the whole house. Las Encinas lets u concentrate on sobriety and has maids and a cafeteria. Plus amazing counselors. Oh ya btw when I wanted to leave they wouldn’t let me call a cab so they drove me down the street and dropped me off at a kmart with no wallet and no money. What kind of place does that. If a place really cared about their clientS they wouldn’t drop them off in a parking lot cause they don’t want to pay anymore. One more thing when I stayed there they were lying to my wife and not letting me talk to her on the phone and when I got home I was appauled at what they had told her. Complete lies about my health just to make her worry and keep me there. Oh ya the pictures they have on their website r bs cause the place never looks like that. Las Encinas will even make sure u have living arraignments before u leave there. Please beware. I’ve visited a lot of places around and by far los Encinas is the way to go!!!
It’s funny this an update and was looking at their website. All the photos they have are from their one nice cabin that u have to have seniority to even stay there. Everyone else stays in a crappy house that the chef (trust me it’s canned food and no way is this person even close to a chef as I went to culinary school). Place is dirty and if u want to leave they will drop u on the side of the road with no money or a phone. I know they did it to me

My brother has been through Sunrise 2 years ago and thanks to them and working a program he is still sober. I have referred countless people to Sunrise because of my brothers experience and most of them have remained sober.
I wish there was an area you could report someones review as harmful as some of these reviews are just brutal. From what I’ve learned about this disease is it isn’t something that is cured overnight and not everyone stays sober. When someone is willing to do the work required to maintain sobriety that is when they are successful.
I hope this helps someone else out there looking for a wonderful place to get sober. The staff and communication were what my family and I cared about the most. They had family sessions EVERY week, physical activity and the gym were a plus for my brother. Seriously I could go on and on about this place.

Sunrise Ranch totally changed my life. I was a reckless kid when I entered their program. I hated it at the time, but years later I still think about the staff and counselors who put up with me and took the time to invest in me. I’m thankful for the work they do and would recommend anyone seeking recovery to check them out. I never thought I would say that living life sober would be amazing, but it really is.
