I would HIGHLY recommend CDC for the firearm enthusiast. Whether you are new to the sport, intermediate or a highly experienced shooter — CDC methodology works.
I took the NRA intro course, Dave was knowledgeable and patient. He was not condescending.
I then worked with Dave for a handgun evaluation session — it was the best hour I spent contemplating a purchase. I went in with pre-​conceived notions of what I wanted based on what I’ve read — vs. what I’ve actually shot. I ended up with a great gun.
The defensive 1 course is also excellent — the progression of the course takes you from a nervous student to a confident gun owner.
Dave’s experience also lends itself to smart purchases on accessories (holsters, bags, ammo, etc). I didn’t waste money with a bad purchase.
Money spent with CDC is certainly a great investment to long term enjoyment of the firearms sports.

Dave was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable. My girlfriend and I took the course, and neither of us have much firearms experience. Dave was able to make us comfortable with the firearms and give us extremely valuable instruction. If you are looking into owning a firearm, want to know how to use one should the situation ever arise, or simply want to have a great time; I cannot recommend a better place to do it.

Not enough stars to rate this service for training and most importantly safety when concerning firearms instruction. Not many businesses out there that make you feel you have gotten more than you paid for. Instructor is knowledgeable, personable and patient. Kudos all around.
