Established in 2010.

CMEs Training is owned and operated privately. Tom B. has been in the medical field for 34 years and has been an educator for 30 years, predominantly teaching all American Heart Association courses.

Meet the Business Owner

Tom B.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Tom decided on a career in the medical field in 1977 when he joined a local ambulance company to make money to support going to college. Thirty three years later, he retired from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Department of Fire Rescue to continue with his second passion, educating medical professionals and lay person. During his career Tom has been an assistant to a local dermatologist, EMT-​P/​FF and a Field Training Officer and throughout this time continued to teach and hold positions in hospitals and private practice and as Director of Education and Quality Assurance for several reputable companies and maintain licenses through the American Heart Association as an ACLS, BLS, PALS Instructor and Training Center Faculty. An avid union member for IAFF Local 4321 for many years, Tom worked to improve standards and benefits while co-​founding the member assistance program for all its members.
