Music students perform better in math and science! Give your child a leg up on the competition with a professional tutor.

Our teachers are effective communicators who are great with kids and parents. They are always accessible by phone or email to answer questions and discuss student progress and lesson planning. We provide a safe, comfortable, low-pressure atmosphere for students to learn and grow.

We teach the fundamentals of music theory as well as advanced techniques like soloing with multiple scales. Students are provided the opportunity to learn to read music notation, as well as learn to transcribe songs (by ear). Not only do the teachers have degrees of higher learning but also years of training and professional experience.

We teach a variety of subjects to improve your playing and musicianship. Lessons are given individually by the tutor and are adjusted to meet the specific needs and interests of each student. The teachers are working musicians who can improve your abilities with fun and enlightening playing exercises.

Meet the Business Owner

Luke D.

Business Owner

«It is my goal to reveal the talent you never knew you had, awaken your natural ability to write songs, join a band, a choir or symphony orchestra, and to inspire you to better yourself and develop self-discipline. I strive to be like the great teachers I’ve had, who made me excited to go to class, anxious to learn more and practice harder. Let me help to grow and develop you or your student’s skills.»

Luke started reading music with saxophone at age 8 and gigging professionally on bass by the age of 16. After earning a Degree from The Musicians Institute in Los Angeles with a major in Electric Bass Performance, he worked as a studio musician in LA and San Francisco bay area. Luke is a Kuumbwa Honors Band alumnus, appearing at Jazz Festivals in Monterey, Reno, Burbank, San Jose and LA were he received the Outstanding Soloist Award from the International Society of Jazz Educators. He has also worked as pit orchestra bassist with musical theatre groups like Kids on Broadway.
