Okay I’m here getting a mani and pedi. I’ll start from the beginning, walked in everyone staring. I went to service counter, Had an appointment, checked in for 600 pm appointment, I was early. I was greeted by Asian young girl who assured me she would be taking care of me. I was directed to pick out a color and she would start my water. I was immediately seated, wasn’t allowed to soak, before she immediately started cleaning my feet. Very disappointed, wasn’t allowed to relax. I think the whole pedi was completed in 15 min, not happy. However, It was very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Just think it was a rush job. She did a nice job polishing my nails. Second problem, I wanted toes and finger colors to match. After she finished my toes, she couldn’t find a color close to or the same as my toes. So have to settle on a completely different color. The tech did a great job polishing nails, turned out very pretty.

I have been here on a a few occasions and given this place several tries but I have been disappointed each time. Two stars because I have always been a walk in and they have fit me in each time and the ambiance inside is nice. This past visit I had the no chip manicure. It looked horrible. The area near the cuticle was uneven and rough looking. On one of my fingers she got some of the polish on my skin and because it was a shellac it caused the skin and nail to get stuck together. The mani cost $ 40 but they said it would last 2 weeks. 4 days after my manicure it started to peel off at the edges. I will most certainly not be returning.

Loved the place when I walked in. The prices are a bit high for what you get though. I got a mani pedi nothing fancy. It was 50 $ I did add flowers to my toes but thats it. The massage was way too short! It was about 5 min long. She was nice and talked to me however was a bit rough with me. I would give it another try in hopes of a better massage.

have been to VIP two times now. Once for a full set and another time for a fill. They take ANDKEEP their appointment times– which is refreshing considering that some people(like myself) are in a time crunch on friday afternoons. The salon is clean and a relaxing atmosphere– a little dark, but I certainly do not mind since the 30 minutes that I am spending there is meant to be a break from the hustle and bustle of the everyday. Reasonable prices and newer color options– I hate some salons that have old outdated colors that they water down and use until the polish is super thin. This is definitely not the case at VIP. I would(and have) recommend this nail salon.

Horrible. I went in for a simple manicure. The lady who did my nails was not friendly and did not speak to me at all. She was rough with my nails, soaked them in acetone which was running down and completely dried out my hands. And then she soaked my hands in cold water. She made me feel like I was a bother, and she made barely any effort to do a good job. I will absolutely not be going back to this place.

The ladies in there were very nice but I don’t like when one person gives me my manicure and another a pedicure. It was also 90 degree outside and they had no AC turned on. She said the boss doesn’t let them. So I’m sweating while trying to relax. Instead the door is prop open with the sound of Woodward. Also, $ 40 for a mani and pedi and only got oil(gross) on my legs, no lotion and no message.

Very rude to me especially on Mothers Day weekend. One girl was about to start on me and I guess the manger pulled her right off me!!! It was so embarrassing!!! Then I just sat in cold water until someone came over. Wow really. I’ll never be back.

I had a 1:00 appt because I needed to leave by 2:30. They were running behind, didn’t get me started for my pedi and acrylic mani until 1:20, yet they still got me in and finished by 2:30. Great service, Tracey is the best, my new favorite nail spot. I’ve been to Diva(nice but very pricey), Nails Etc(the shellac would peel within days and very pricey), Love(where they were rude), Birmingham Nails(nice but pedis weren’t great and they don’t do acrylic), and Angel Nails(where one tech told me one thing then a week later denied saying it and was very rude to me). VIP lives up to its name, for sure. Beautiful inside, very professional, and extremely polite technicians.

I love this place I just wish they would fix their chairs! They are pretty much all broken. But I just suck it up because they give such a great manicure and pedicure!

Good, will go back. Got mani-pedi they were very friendly. Only thing I’d say is that tips are cash. Hot stone massage on legs was nice, didn’t expect.

I had a mani/pedi as a birthday gift from my mother and chose VIP solely due to its Sunday hours. What a treat — Kim did my services and was the best technician I’ve had. She was very relaxed, friendly, and conversational with me. Not only that, but she took her time with both the mani and pedi(maybe let her know if you’re in a hurry? I know I wasn’t!) and listened to what I was looking for. I don’t get my nails done often, but when I do I will try to book for Kim specifically. :)

Was so disappointed one early afternoon I arrived. I can understand having to wait, but when I arrived, the owner/manager(?) told me it would be about a 20 minute wait, which I was fine with. 30 minutes later, another employee who’d just arrived approached me and said it would be a few minutes, which I was fine with. 45 minutes later, I watched as they took customers that had arrived well AFTER I had. All I needed was a fill! Nearly 55 minutes later, I stood and walked right out. I’ll NEVER give my business to this place! Don’t know why they took 2 customers that had arrived AFTER I had, and here it was nearly an hour, and still no service. Need I say more?

I have not found a salon for manis/pedis that I loved in a while now. Finally had the best manicure EVER here. I believe her name is Chelsea, she is a young woman working here who did amazing. My nails never looked better. She really went above and beyond in customer service and she knows what she is doing. Very nice to talk to as well and the prices are great. It was fairly busy on a Thursday morning — I didn’t have to wait but it was a good sign to see so much business on a weekday morning. I can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been here a few times now. My aunt recommended it to me. She goes there regularly for mani/pedis. I can only speak to the pedicures. A-mazing. Pedicure is $ 27 but includes a calf massage and hot stone treatment. I’ve never waited very long. I think the longest was on a Wednesday after work and that wait was only 10 minutes. I’ve always received a good pedicure that lasts at least 3 weeks before starting to chip. I have now recommended that my mother go and she loves it as well. Perhaps my only concern is payment. They are very relaxed about it so it is almost awkward to bring up the money aspect. As others have said, make sure you have cash for a tip.

Went to Anna for nails trimmed & polished only. At other salons they trim & file with a polish change for no extra fee. Here she ripped me down one leg & up the next! How she came up with $ 32 was amazing… She offered to soak my feet and then billed me $ 22 for a polish change on my toes, because she soaked them! She then billed me $ 10 for a polish change on my fingers. SMH. Way to gouge a great customer! Lost a big tipper too! #dishonest #ripoff #stayaway

I’ve been here now three times for a manicure(two regular, one gel) and will definitely go back. As far as these standard nail places go, this one always seems so much cleaner and calmer to me. It is a very clean, serene, calm environment — much more so than other places I’ve been. Haven’t had a pedicure here, but the chairs look comfy! I’ve had three different people and all have done a great job. I am very hard on my nails but the manicures here seem to last longer — also, loving this strong gel one a week later. The first time I came here, I went with a friend and we then realized it’s not a great place to get a mani done if you want to talk with other people — their chairs are in a single file line so you won’t be next to anyone you came with. Definitely my quick nail place of choice.

Really disappointed when a woman walked in and demanded her polish be changed by my technician despite my appointment. I had to wait 30minutes even though I walked in first and had planned ahead. I guess some customers are more VIP than others.

One of the best nail places I’ve been in Michigan by far! I got a shellac manicure by Galisie(I know I totally botched the spelling) but she was Great! very friendly and talked to me the whole time!

Searching high and low for a new nail place in the area has been a real task. I am hopeful I have finally found a new home. Dallas is amazing at Pink and White fills. And she is the sweetest person ever, it is a pleasure to have her doing my nails. The salon is clean and they have a great selection of polishes and colors. I would recommend making an appointment if you want to try this place, they seem to be steady busy.
