Rocket One Stop

Rude. I was turned away by a different printing company because they said gold foil stamping could not be printed on both sides of a business card. I called Rocket Printing and they said that it IS possible to do gold foil stamping on both sides, so I drove there and walked in. The man (who I believe is the owner) went over pricing with me, looked at my business card files, and took a half down deposit. Before I left, I asked him to see an example of the gold foil stamp. He showed me and it was an awful gold color. I informed him that it’s not the same color as gold foil stamp and that it was ugly. He then waved his arms in an up-​and-​down motion implying me to calm down (although I was calm and not upset in any way). He explained to me that what I was paying for was NOT stamping, but ink. He then showed me a gold stamped business card, and when I informed him that it was exactly what I wanted, he said that they could not do gold foil stamping on both sides of a business card… Then I asked for a refund. Conclusion? They lied to me over the phone to get me to walk in, tried selling me gold ink by calling it gold foil, and waved his arms at me to calm down (only because I called a color ugly). NEVER coming back to this place. Awful customer service.

Not impressed, the lady behind the counter was very rude. I only went in to get a estimate of some copies for my husbands job. Was basically told that they wouldn’t do it. Left with nothing!

Until today I would have agreed with all of these positive reviews. I had two items printed. One item had an error of mine in it. While I was talking to two people at the counter trying to figure out what I should do (a man I believe to be the owner) started yelling at me from across the room. I could tell the two I was speaking with felt badly about what was said to me but were not able or unwilling to speak up. I paid for my worthless printing and left. I will never return.

I used Rocket Print to do a rush job on an irregular sized photo collage. I received a quote online within hours and had my print in hand a day after confirming all the details in person. The staff is some of the friendliest and most helpful people I have the pleasure of meeting and the print I received exceeded my expectations. My print was fairly priced and I feel I received exceptional customer service. I will definitely be using Rocket Print again for my on off prints.

This place is awesome! I called in to ask if they do small prints and they said they would do anything from a penny size all the way to a 12 ft size! I’ve been to a few other print shops and they always demand a certain size or it can’t be done.
So I emailed this crew about how big of a print I needed and what my intended use was and they assured me it would meet my standards or exceed them. :-)
I go pick up my prints and they were perfect! Down to the last detailed request! And it was under 20 bucks! Will be coming back when I need more stuff printed!
The vinyl sticker is nice and clean cut. I put this on my bicycle where I ride this thing everywhere from a super rainy day up to a blazing hot evening. I’ve gotten many compliments where people think they sticker I got from them is part of the original paint! Haha. So it’s a very good quality.
I gave them 4 stars because the workmanship and final product was the best. The missing star was because their parking lot is tiny and my car got hit while I had the right away. Some idiot in a Cadillac did not even check his rear view mirrors or sides ones and just decided to back up while I was waiting to turn out on to the street. Not their fault but it was a bad experience finding them and parking in such a cramped parking lot.

Im changing my review from 5 stars to 2. The last time I used them they were not helpful at all. The whole process made me wonder why I was supporting a small local business when I could easily order my printing on line with less trouble, which is what i decided to do the next time I had something to be printed.
Im disappointed because they are a small local shop and I like to support independent business but they actually have to want my business.

I needed some vinyl lettering for my glass door in my office, mind you it was not the most intricate thing in the world and not the most expensive job, 20 dollars, but the end result was excellent. The job was done quick and I am sure they didn’t make much money off of it, but they treated me like it was equally important.
I will continue to do business with them from hereon.

Great place, friendly, helpful, and very affordable! (Definitely not a cookie cutter corporate store!) Their prices were around 25−30% lower than the other «corporate» store in downtown Royal Oak. They went out of the way to make sure I was happy with my print and bind job. I will be back.

Rocket is the BEST place to get any printing done… The best price in town with a very fast turn around time. Five Stars!

The only reason they don’t get a 5 star is because there isn’t a formal way to send your documents online. We signed up for an event last minute and had to rush rush rush to get some cards & photographs printed last second, they worked with our crazy schedule and were very polite and helpful regardless of the fact that we were that nightmare client. They can pretty much do anything so I can’t wait to come up with some crazy UV/​Matte/​Die cut business cards and have them make them!

I love this place! I go to Rocket for all of my needs… Fliers, Posters, Stickers and T-​shirts. They are INCREDIBLY fast and everything is great quality. When I placed a T-​shirt order they let me mix and match different styles and colors of shirts for no extra charge. I told them I needed them ASAP and they definitely delivered. Great customer service as well. If you need anything printed Rocket is definitely the place to do it.

They once gave me change for the parking meter.

Overpriced — abysmal print quality (I go to art school downtown Detroit, so my standards are accurate, if exacting) — piss poor customer service.
My black and white large-​format plot was printed with a purple hue (submitted in B&W format). Took forever to finish my bill, attendants complaining about «horrible day» behind the counter. I’d rather go to Fedex-Kinko’s (shudder).

Twice I submitted files online and followed their directions exactly. Both times I received confirmation online that it went through, and both times Rocket said they never received the order after I made a phone call. Bad. Very bad.

Rocket Print offers a full line of printing services: cardstock, flyer, business card printing, screenprinting, and cd duplication. They also double as a FedEx shipping center and a do-​it-​yourself copy center.
I had promotional flyers printed here. Tony was awesome to work with and the final product came out looking absolutely amazing. I’ve used a couple other print shops for business cards/​flyers, and Rocket’s work looks the best, hands down. He even knocked a couple bucks off because he liked the artwork!
I’ll definitely come back to Rocket when I need something, anything printed!
The shop is full of musicians and «rock guys,» so it makes sense that their services are sort of tailored to bands. When I was there, they had some pretty good package deals for bands getting shirts, stickers, flyers, posters, and their actual albums made. I’d strongly recommend coming to Rocket if you’re in a band and need something that looks great!
