My mom had a surprise birthday party for my at her house with Michael cooking dinner for us. Not only was it entertaining and informative, it was delicious! My favorites were the chicken dish and his cannolis!

We had Chef Michael come to our house for a cooking class and were absolutely blown away by the food and the service. We had Chicken Piccata which was AMAZING but he also made risotto, appetizers and salad. Everything was made from scratch and tasted fabulous. All our guests loved it and I would highly recommend you have him cook for your next event. He brings all his own equipment and you can sit back and relax while he creates an incredible meal. Book now! YUM! We also loved it so much we are having him back!

We had purchased a Taste of Sicily Groupon for part of my sister’s wedding gift. Her and her husband decided to surprise my husband and I and add us to their cooking lesson. The four of us had the most wonderful time ever. Michael was kind, funny, accommodating, extremely talented and the best chef around! He made it such a special night and it was an experience like none other. Not only did he cook an amazing meal but he also provided the groceries, his own pots & pans and does the clean up! We talked about the experience and the meal on a very regular basis for months! We enjoyed it so much that we decided to skip a Christmas gift exchange and hire Michael for a fun intimate Christmas party with the 4 of us again! Once again, he blew us out of the water. The meal was fresh, delicious and five star. He made so much food that we were even able to enjoy the leftovers! We recommend using Michael from intimate events to large events. Not only is he an amazing chef, he is entertaining too! Hire Michael if you want an unforgettable night that you and your friends will talk about for years to come!

Michael Spatafore, is an incredible chef who comes into your home and prepares your family a home-​cooked meal off a menu you select. We originally obtained his name from Groopon and he stopped over our home and cooked a delicious 5-​course meal for my family (of 4). He was more than happy to teach us the recipes, joked throughout, brought the pots, pans, burner, ingredients, and even the dish washing cleaner so that our house was spotless after he left. We enjoyed the dinner so much we invited him to do it again a few months later for 3 couples. How much fun it is to watch a top notch chef at work, be able to ask questions, get written recipes, laugh, and eat a fabulous meal.
My wife and I strongly recommend Michael for a great home cooked fun meal at your home!

I recently celebrated a «big» birthday. My husband was going to make a dinner for ten, but then we heard about Michael and I am very glad that we did. Not only did he bring in all if the ingredients for appetizers and the meal, but also pots, pans, utensils, etc. We were treated to an excellent preparation of bruschetta and eggplant rollatini which led into swordfish grilled to perfection, asparagus with a white sauce, a lovely salad and a delicious risotto. Dessert was home made cannoli.
Michael turned a dinner onto an event. My friends are still talking about it! Take the pressure off and let Michael do the shopping, cooking and clean up for you. He has a great personality to boot!

Michael Spadafore demonstrated food preparation and cooked for four of us in June 2012. Beginning with a delicious bruscetta, and progressing to a salad featuring a lemon/​shallot vinaigrette dressing, then grilled swordfish accompanied by a mushroom risotto, the learning/​dining experience was delightful from start to finish. Fresh food, simply yet deliciously prepared by a caring, congenial and talented chef left nothing to be desired. We plan to have Michael back again next year.

A comic who’s also a chef? Yes please! I’ve know a lot of chefs and I can personally say Michael is one of the most personable chefs Detroit has to offer. He makes cooking fun while we learn how to make traditional Italian dishes. What’s not to love?

We had Michael cater our wedding and every guest there wanted his card and most hired him for their own events. We love him and his food so much we have had him back again and again. We have since moved because of a job to Cali and we miss his food so much! Forget about it, That’s Italian! You will love this food! I can tell that I would fly Michael out here to cater an event, that’s how good he his!
