Leah’s Closet in Royal Oak

Leah is so fun and friendly– I just met her the other day and she made me feel like we were already good friends! She has awesome, unusual stuff in her store and prices seem reasonable for what the stuff is. Would highly recommend Leah’s Closet!

Really fun place! They actually have a great selection, and I was able to find a great top for my anniversary dinner for $ 40. If you love online stores like ModCloth or you like a bohemian look, this place is perfect.

I have driven by this place for months and finally decided I am going to check this place out. I was never intrigued by the store front because I am typically driving by at 25 mph, so I can’t see much driving by — only colors and shapes. When I stepped in the store, I had a Alice in Wonderland experience. I felt like I had stepped into another time and place. I became the character in Alice in Wonderland. I became the odd figure in the sea of bold colors, vivid patterns, retro clothing. My eyes were dilated at once and my brain went into sensory overload. Like a kid in a candy shop, I wanted to taste all the interesting looking «candies».
If you are looking for an interesting piece of clothing or you need a dress that probably no else will be wearing at a party, this place is for you. So why the ⁴⁄₅ rating? There is lots of available parking, love the layout of the store, helpful staff. The store location is odd. I would like to see it with other stores that complement it, so I won’t have to keep getting and in out my car. The tiny sidewalk and storefront, odd location, make it easy to forget.

do not judge a book by its cover! It may be hard to tell what kind of women’s fashion store this is judging from their window, but once you cross that threshold you are transported into a vintage bohemian playground!
This is a perfect little shop for those of us looking for something fun, unique, and affordable. The shopping environment is welcoming — she even keeps a pair of high heels in the dressing room for that perfect finishing touch.
