Flower to Flour Bakery

I absolutely adore Danny’s cakes. He did my sister’s wedding in 2005 and I still rave about it! My sister had his white cake with strawberry filling and chocolate cake with raspberry filling. I have a weakness for chocolate and raspberry, so I have to say that was my favorite. His cake is so moist and flavorful. My cousin is getting married in about two years and I am sending her straight to Danny. :) You are missing out if you do not give his cakes a try!

Having a wedding is stressful enough but I always tell my wife that most enjoyable person to work with was Daniel. Daniel did all the desserts for my wedding including an incredible cake. He also did my brothers wedding and everything was flawless. In my opinion the best baker in Detroit!

Daniel was an absolute JOY to work with. after looking over his website i knew i wanted him to do my wedding cake.
when i first met with Daniel he was fantastic!!! he had a sample cake for us to try. he talked over what we wanted and what i was looking for.
We ended up with a six tiered cake. We had two tiers of chocolate with raspberry filling, two of chocolate with chocolate mousse filling, and two of white with strawberry filling. The frosting was DELICIOUS. it was very light and not heavy at all.
The cake was decorated to match the design in my dress and between each tier were roses.
i would definitely recommend Daniel. his cakes are a bit more expensive than going to a big bakery but i thought the splurge was worth it!!! Just know that the flowers have to come from your florist. Daniel just puts the flowers in the cake — he doesn’t have anything to do with ordering them
