All State Tree and Lawn Service

I called and asked for an estimate for a full year of lawn services (6 treatments, seeding, and lawn aeration), and tree trimming services. They said they would do an estimate and leave it in the door. As days went on no estimate, no phone call, nothing. I guess they dont want my business. This happened in spring of 2012, so maybe things have changed? I wont be trying them again.

Not a fan. Hired them to trim some bushes & trees. Remove a tree. And do some fertilizing of my yard one summer. They trimmed & removed the trees nicely. But the problem I had was with the fertilization. I hired them to do one summer, but they kept coming back. Even when I didn’t sign a contract. And each year, they kept adding more services. I paid the second year thinking my wife mistakenly signed a new contract but that was not the case. I ended up finding it later in a pile of bills. Then the third year I got another contract from this. This time, I kept it in a secure place. Made sure NOT to send it back and see what happens. Low and behold, they start service again. This time, they’re aerating my yard ($ 70). What the hell?! Even when I signed a contract, I never authorized an aeration. Then they do a early spring balancing ($ 36). What the hell#2?! I never told them to do that either even when I first signed up. Then they do a late spring fertilization ($ 36). Then one month later they’re doing a combo fertilization plus grub treatment ($ 108). What the hell #3?! I never contracted for grub treatment before. Then one month later they do another late summer fertilization ($ 36). Now they’re harassing me for $ 286 worth of services I never signed up for. SCAM ARTISTS. Do not sign up with these people or they’ll come back year after year and start performing services you never agreed to and then billing you for it. I held onto all the contracts (so they couldn’t forge my signature and claim I signed them). It doesn’t matter. Use them once and they’ll keep coming out and adding more and more services you didn’t ask for and charging you up the wha-​zoo for them. STAY FAR AWAY.
