Two Unique Catering provides Private Catering and Corporate Catering to suite any needs. We make everything from scratch using fresh and wholesome ingredients. Our custom design menus reflect our clients personality, preferences and budget. We also Dramatically stage food and beverage stations along with an experienced and professional on-​site service staff.

History

Established in 1991.

Chef-​Owner Kelli Lewton’s passion for fresh food and personal service led her to establish 2 Unique in 1991, after spending several years as a chef at some of the more notable fine dining establishments in the Detroit Metro Area. Over the past 19 years, 2 Unique has grown to become one of Metro Detroit’s leading catering and event planning firms. Individual client attention and devotion to quality preparation and presentation are the hallmarks that Chef Kelli and her team are known for. Two Unique Caterers have created successful events as large as five thousand guests. We have been awarded the Best Caterer in the Detroit Area by the Detroit News in 2006 as well as Best Caterer by the KNOT Magazine in 2010.

Outstanding!!! We hired 2 Unique for an outdoor wedding in our friend’s backyard. It is a big property and I’m sure presented challenges. However, our guests wouldn’t have known the difference because the service was so perfect. We are still getting compliments on the food, service and professionalism of 2 Unique. They are true pros at what they do!

I hired 2 Unique as a referral from a family friend for a first time Charity event at the Madison in Detroit. I have to say, they were a life saver throughout the planning process. We had some bumps in the road with our venue and Shona pulled through every time we had an obstacle and made sure our problems were solved. She even found bartenders and ordered everything we needed just five days before our event. On top of how helpful they were, the food and presentation was amazing. They created such an elegant atmosphere for our guests and really made our vision a reality. Every person I spoke with that night made comments about how delicious the food was and I continued to received messages the next day about the event, and of course how great the food was. This was our first of many events for this Charity and we have already decided to form a partnership and use them every year. I can’t imagine using anyone else after this flawless experience. I highly recommend 2 Unique for any event, big or small!

I hired Two Unique for a business event in Troy last week and they did a great job from start to end. Expeditious quote on what I needed, friendly and prompt follow through and fantastic service coupled with delicious food the day of the event. Carolyn did a terrific job up front and Denise along with Hope were professional, friendly and great to work with the day of the event. I selected Two Unique from 2500 miles away and they instilled confidence in me that they would handle catering for the event perfectly and they did! Now everyone who attended the event wants to use Two Unique as well!

We hired 2 Unique for our wedding. And let me tell you there is literally not enough words in the dictionary or time in a day to tell you how wonderful they did. Everyone raved about the food, the staff was fantastic and the whole venue looked fantastic.
I have worked with them before and they do great work whether it be a wedding, birthday, bar mitzvah, you name it, they make it amazing.
I could go on and on about how fantastic it was but it would get old. So basically if you want good food hire someone else. If you want the best effing service, food and people then go with 2U.

We hired 2 Unique to cater our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Seven months later and people are STILL talking about how good the food was.
We are both vegetarians and we wanted a menu that was diverse (lots of small plates rather than two heavy entrees) and omnivorous (but truly so – we wanted more for non-​meat eaters to eat than salad and spaghetti). 2 Unique worked with us where other caterers seemed confused, or outright scoffed. And the result was delicious! Spicy corn relish, perfect tabbouleh, grilled vegetables, black bean cakes, quesadillas, kabobs, fresh breads, and a dessert bar so beautiful, no one noticed that we skipped the wedding cake completely.
Our coordinator Carolyn was outstanding. We chose a bare-​bones venue that did not have any dishes, glassware, linens, or a staff, but Carolyn made everything easy for us. The bartenders were delightful, our service was impeccably professional, and set-​up /​clean-​up were a snap. Carolyn was even able to hook us up with some pretty twinkle lights for the windows for a crazy good deal.
2 Unique really made us feel like VIPs and for the tremendous service they provided, their rates were a great value. I loved working with them!
