Established in 2003.

Small family business that strives to give each customer personal attention, quality work, reasonable rates on labor and parts, my husband has been working on harleys for about 20 yr’s and our goal here is to see each customer leave here happy and tell their friends about us… its worked so far so give us a try! This place is hands down the absolute BEST service I’ve ever had.
I was riding my bike from Boston to Maine when it broke down just south of Newburyport. After speaking to my insurance company and arranging a tow, I found Gypsy Cycles on my iPhone as the closest motorcyle repair shop.
I gave them a quick call and they told me to cancel the tow from the insurance as I would be waiting for hours and that they would come get me.
2 employees showed up not 30 minutes later with a covered trailor to put my bike in and brought me back to their shop on Rt 1 in Rowley.
Now, I don’t know the first thing about motorcycles and their shop specialized in Harley’s and Chopper style bikes. They were lost when it came to my Kawasaki ZZR600, but that didn’t stop them from trying to help.
We added some oil to the bike (2 quarts in the resevoir and 1 spare just in case), started her up and let my bike run for a while. Everything was going good so I picked up some fingerless gloves and went to pay them.
For the Pick-​up/​tow 8 – 10 miles away, 3 quarts of oil and a pair of gloves and they charged me $ 40!!!
Anyway, I was pulling out and about to hit 95 when the bike brokedown again and they came and picked me up, again. Even though they were closed at this point, they came back to get me a second time.
Today, they are going to look at my bike and if they can’t figure out why it’s acting up, they are going to bring it down the street to a shop that knows more about Kawasaki’s. For free!
I was just amazed at how nice they were and the honesty amung all of them.
They are top rate and will recommend them to anyone who owns a motorcycle.
EDIT/​UPDATE:
Wow, even though this was last year. When I went to return to pick up my bike, about a week later, they fixed the problem and the total charge was about $ 89 + some nic-​nacs I bought in their store. Totaly about $ 110.
I ended up taking a train there and they were awesome enough to pick me up at the commuter rail station when I called them and asked for a cab # for the area. Everyone I tried to call was basically like, hell no!
Anyway, picked up the bike got on it, drove it away and got about a mile and the bike sputters and dies. GREAT! What now?!
Turns out one of them followed me out and down the road a ways and pulled in behind me. He came up and said that they may have run the gas down (which is totally fine) for test runs and make sure the bike was doing ok. So after apologizing for that he told me to pop it on the reserve tank and head to a gas stations, to which he followed me there as well. They offered to pay for some gas that they think they used, but I told them all of that was unnecessary and that they’ve done way too much. Everything has been great since.
