These people play unprofessional games and will not get back to you about anything. They will jerk you around and LIE. You will just be wasting time and money with them just to get screwed over in the end. The supervisor was downright nasty to me on the phone and angry that I called her. SO whether it is Rowland park or the community center. these people will act like they cant hear you going hello hello? then hang up on you. Forget any parks for your event in Rowland heights and go over to Diamond Bar. I also found disgusting hypodermic needles at the rowland park on Bandia. Stay away from there.

Fantastic view, new playground equipment, exercise stations throughout the park, a trail that goes around th park. Also baseball fields with lights for night games.

I liked this park; it was not only tucked away but also came with a beautiful view. (I don’t dare describe the view; I wouldn’t do it justice.) But, alas… I digress.
I came here with my kids for the splash pad. They enjoyed it! Good set up for toddlers and younger-​aged kids. The crowd is a mix of families with mostly little ones ages 1 – 10 or so.
Lastly, the playground is worth mentioning. The play equipment is not the typical barrage of swings, etc. It seems to be centered more toward balance & development… maybe more appropriate for elementary school kids. Nonetheless, my kids had fun climbing about… they even tried the wobbling balance beams… talk about a bit of a mommy heart attack!
Overall, a fun time!

I remember when this park first opened. Basketball courts were always crowded. Sad to see the bbal court and tennis courts demolished. Good memories but life goes on.

This park is great for a weekend full of baseball games. My son played here on numerous occasions. This park always has things going on every weekend. It is well kept and is just nice all around.

This is an okay park.
First time I went to this park was actually for a car meet many many years ago. lol.
But this park is kinda cool. It has exercise equipment at the top, a trail that you can walk, and a few baseball fields. On the lower level, there are tennis courts and a basketball court.
But I wouldn’t even bother with those tennis courts since every time I’ve passed by, I always see the courts packed.
And the park and tennis courts have light post… Why are they never on?
So if you want to make a trip here, be sure to go before the sun goes down
Parking: Easy to find parking. Lots of spots.
Will I be back? Probably. I’m trying to find different parks around the area to go walking at. lol.

Park is well maintained. A lot of runners and other sport activities always going on, so no worries of any dangers even though its secluded. And the police is always parked their at night which makes even more safe.

Nice park. Courts are always full and I don’t think anyone using the courts abides by the amount allowed rule. Other than that it is nice.

pathfinder park is one of my fave parks in the neighborhood. it’s well kept and nice. flat trail that goes all around the park. i use this place 2 let my dogs run free (i know we’re not supposed 2…) i do pick up after them. i usually go on the weekday afternoons when no one is using the baseball field. sometimes on a clear day u cud c throughout the valley. they also have a recreation center area (fenced in) 4 parties. the only thing i don’t like about this place is the children’s park doesn’t have swings. the bottom part of the park has tennis courts (usually pretty busy) and a tiny children’s play area. i don’t feel safe allowing the children or dogs play on the bottom part because it is right on the main street, pathfinder. cars go flying left and right. just take everybody 2 the top part of the park.

This used to be a great park, but recently they have been messing with the electricity here and there are no lights on the ground level at the tennis courts. And they brought one of the high voltage towers down to the ground level, near the kids’ playground! What are they thinking???
I still walk here from my house sometimes and go to the upper level to walk couple laps before heading back home. But again, they really need to restore the lights at the tennis courts because people want to play tennis when the sun goes down and they can’t! Are you people listening!!!

So i came here to run a few times and while it’s a good 2.5 start to finish the road is uneven… good for horses… lots of sand so not at all like running at a marathon… still they have a nice duck pond and it’s a somewhat mixed terrain which gives a bit of a challenge

Pathfinder Park is great! This is a great park for all ages. The outdoor gym and play structures are so interesting. The picnic areas looked very nice too.
I wish I lived closer so I could use the outdoor gym equipment. There is tons of different «machines» that you normally see at the gym.
I wish I had kids so they could play in the playground. All of the play structures look so foreign to me. I was asking kids how to use it.

I love this park. I come to play tennis very often, but it’s very packed at nights and weekends. You have to come early to reserve your spot! There are often lessons going on so you have to watch out for that. It’s nice that they have two kids playgrounds — one upstairs and one downstairs. Also lots of greenery for pets and children to play. I like the two big baseball fields they have upstairs with a running track around them.

I came here to play tennis couple of times, I like this place a lot!
It seems to be a huge park with many amenties. It is also clean! One note on tennis is that Wednesday is the special tennis day, so the courts are reserved for a tennis club of some sort, you won’t be able to play during Wednesdays. Also, wear enough clothes when you play at night, it tends to get cold, I think I cought a cold :(

I love this park. Since it’s summer now and I usually am bored off my ass, I come here sometimes just to chill.
It’s usually empty on weekdays, although the parking lot by the clubhouse place is usually packed (I guess for some activities inside the clubhouse).
Pathfinder has some of the most calm scenery in Rowland Heights. The park is very clean and it’s just an oasis away from the hectic bustle of traffic on damn Fullerton & Colima.
I just wish this place would open until later in the night.

I gotta agree with everything written in Rina C’s review.
I went here with my brother and mom on Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours (not sure what the occasion was) and I’m glad I did. Just something different on a Sunday. I got to spend some time with my cousins and their families and friends. Got to play on the up to date playgrounds, I haven’t seen a jungle gym set like this before, boy times are changing. Other nice amenities were plenty of tables, clean restrooms, plenty of parking and softball/​baseball fields and plenty of grass area for lounging.
While I was there for a different reason, I seen other people I knew that were at a party going on in the area you need to reserve. At the party they had a taco truck and a jumper so I guess you could rent these and have them set up at the park, I thought that was pretty cool. I guess if I had any kids, I’d consider throwing them a party at this park =P
