The staff Sherry Yan is super efficient and very helpful. I sent the office an e mail on Sunday 11 pm to request the income tax return of my daughter in the electronic form for her refinancing. I got the files I needed on Monday 10 :30 am.
Prior to this experience, I always have received good professional advise from Rachael Liang, CPA and her staff for the past 20 to 30 years.

Rachel is very competent and highly experienced. My in-​laws recommended her. Tom T has been going to her since his teens, I believe. So with that vote of confidence, I went. She does things by the rules. She’s ethical. She knows the latest rules and regulations and what’s going on in the tax world.
Her suggestion to us to put more money into a retirement account is a good one. Listen to her and learn from her if you go. I took one star off because her staff simply don’t respond to my e-​mails to them quickly.

Generally quick response. Their office moved to walnut about a year ago. As with other accountants, you should always cross check the work because I got back annual files with another company’s financial info in it. If you are looking for an ok company for book keeping, they may be able to help.

Rachel was recommended by a relative and I was really impressed by her abilities. I gave her a stack of my notes breaking down income and expenses and she was so experienced and smart, she knew what the information was (gross vs net, etc) and even found a couple of mistakes I made. She speaks mandarin, cantonese, and english. I spoke to her primarily in English. Great CPA and has a very busy practice. She was also very helpful in advising the amount I should put away in an IRA.
