I used to come here when I had an Acura. I don’t have an Acura anymore but I remembered that they always did a great job here so I took my BMW here for an alignment. An alignment isn’t anything major, it should be simple and quick. When they were done, my car seemed straight. After not driving for 2 days, I finally got a chance to really test it. It wasn’t straight at all. I took it back to be readjusted. The owner Roni, didn’t seem too happy about that. He made adjustments. It was a little more straight this time. So I take my car to Vegas…4 straight hours of driving. Lots of curves and flat straightaways to really test the alignment. My car is NOT perfectly aligned. I pretty much wasted $ 70 here. My fault for taking a German car to a place that specializes in Japanese cars. Never again.

Can’t believe all reviews. I had a horrible experience for trying to replace my engine mounts (my car was vibrating badly). Paid Roni $ 800 or so dollars and nothing changed! I just took it to another mechanic and they told me that they did replace a mount but it was a lot shorter (meaning it was squished down either because the it was too soft or was used.) Aftermarket parts I would’ve been fine with it if it atleast solved problem! They didn’t bolt down another mount correctly so the vibration was pretty much the same! Roni just said because my car has been in an accident before.
I blew $ 800 here!!!
.and when he tells you how many things your car needs, please be aware! My new mechanic was able to tell me exactly which mount needed to replace and charged me less than half than Roni, where as Roni told me I would need to get atleast 3 mounts PLUS a couple of transmission mounts replaced, which none of them had anything to do it!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a better experience. I never seem to have the best of luck with people who fix my car, whether it be just a standard oil change or fixing a scratch. They tend to be rude, overpriced, and/​or just plain do a bad job.
However, over here the woman at the desk is super sweet and she knows the work just as well as the mechanics. She let me know how the process would work, the price (with no hidden fees unlike most places), and exactly how long it would take. Got in at 5, out by 5:20 for the oil change. Cost only $ 29.95. This place will officially be my go-​to for oil changes!
If you dont like long posts, here’s the run down:
Pros: good manners, they don’t have hidden costs and do things to your car without permission, and they do it quickly.
Cons: None, but bring something to entertain yourself during the wait.

I have a newer Civic and recently noticed a weird screeching noise whenever I put my car in reverse. I usually take my car into my brother’s shop in Sacramento, but now that I live in SoCal, I’m in need of a trusty local mechanic.
I took my car in without an appointment on Friday afternoon. Roni, the owner, was helpful and didn’t at all give me that shady vibe. His assistant quickly performed an oil change, and Ron diagnosed my car as needing new brake pads. I guess the funny noise was the sensor going off informing me I needed to get those changed. Anyway, Ron told me it would take a couple hours and I was prepared to wait, but he graciously offered me a ride home and to pick me up when my car was ready! AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I took a screenshot of the invoice to my brother up North, and he told me the price was fair.
Ron goes above and beyond, and I would highly recommend his services to anyone. Thanks, H-​Tek! Two thumbs up!

I used to bring my old Acura Legend to this places for the past 15 years; however, the Acura Legend finally break down after 288,000 miles and was replaced by a Honda Accord and Honda Civic for my children.
After my son’s Civic need a timing belt changes, I was surprised it was after market parts. I was so surprised that they did not use Genuine (OEM) parts anymore and after talked to the them, I was told it only offer Genuine (OEM) parts on Request only
and the cost would be much higher than quote, which is a change of the policy compare when H-​Tek Motors starts many few years ago.
I was disappointed due to the quote of repairs are not Genuine parts. I looked into my son’s Honda Civic now and I able to local a Mitsubishi alternator belt due to change of water pump last time.
If I know, I wish I would be told that I have a choice of cheaper after market parts or more expensive Genuine (OEM) parts.
All those time, I thought they have good prices on services repairs but I was comparing Apple to Orange.
The cheaper service repairs from H-​Tek Motor is due to after market parts.

I don’t normally write review on Unilocal,but I decided to write a review, that is how satisfied I am with their service! Owner Roni is super nice, super considerate, they specialize in japanese made cars, and are definitely experts at what they are doing. I am very happy with them taking care of my Prius.

Went in for an oil change plus new wipers without an appointment. Total came around $ 55 which I think is pretty decent. I like how I didn’t feel like I was getting scammed especially since I am a girl. It took about 30 min longer than he said it would but I understand, I didn’t have an appointment so I wasn’t too annoyed by that.
I am definitely coming back here. They don’t give me that shady vibe and I feel comfortable here.

My family has been coming here for years. Roni and his team provide quality work for affordable prices (: Plus they don’t keep you waiting like other places. They work fast and efficiently on getting the parts needed for your car. Which means I can conveniently have my car ready for pick up within a couple hours or less (:

If you compare their price with Diamond Honda Dealer, they are probably 25% cheaper, to West Covina Honda 10−15% cheaper. But they will charge you a lot for other service item if you do not check the price. Do not say yes to every item they recommend you to change. check on the price with the dealer first

Roni and his crew are the best. Honest and affordable what more could u ask for in a mechanic.

Came here for a tire alignment since I felt like I could trust them with the positive reviews. The place looked very clean and to me that’s a plus. Now I’m thinking of returning to this place to figure out watever it is that’s making my front drivers side wheel wabble at around 40mph…
I gave it 4 stars because I felt like they did a good job and the workplace was clean. Seemed to know their stuff. I will give it its 5^th star once it fixes my problem :)

This is definitely the place to go if you own a vehicle. Their oil changes are very reasonably priced. They are 100% honest and my experience is that the wait time is usually less than they estimate.
I would suggest trying to go on weekday as Saturdays are RIDONKS.

I have been coming to H-​Tek probably since Roni opened. I was struck with how totally honest he is and how qualified his staff is. I can’t even count how many times Roni found something small wrong with my car and fixed it for free. His prices are competitive but you can’t beat the quality service anywhere. Now my kids bring their Hondas there too! You can’t go wrong with H-​Tek

They use actual Toyota fluids during my transmission oil change. Pricing was good, reasonable. I bring my own motor oil and oil filter, $ 21 for oil change labor and fluid disposal for my Lexus GS400.

I’ve been taking my cars to H-​Tek for almost 10 years now and i would not bring it any where else. Roni (Owner) is a great guy who is the most honest mechanic i know. I use to bring my fixed up integra and he would have no problem working on it, unlike other shops who make a big deal about it. My Lexus is just about out of warranty and it too will be going to H-​Tek.
