Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
Heading Duke Bakery as the Founder and Executive Pastry Chef, is 30 year old Allen Tsai. At the age of 17, the Taiwanese-born Tsai left home for Japan, France and Germany to learn from the celebrated masters of the baking trade. With ten years of valuable experience, the budding bread connoisseur has also gained himself a solid reputation in the baking industry.
Tsai then set up Duke Bakery, leading a team of talented chefs to create a myriad of flavourful and textured bread. The young, hand picked team demonstrate high calibre baking and spirited dedication to the trade. Like Tsai, most have made the admirable choice to leave their home countries and comfort zones in order to chase their dream of creating fine foods. Under the guidance of Tsai, the team has put in countless of hours into training and mastering the baking craft. Energetic, creative, and willing to go the extra mile, these young apprentices possess a hardworking, never-say-die spirit– the markings of true bakers.
