Colima Expert Alterations

Ever since I found this place I can’t imagine going anywhere else! This location is on the route of my weekend commutes and I will always wait til I have a commute over to bring my alterations over! Why do I love this so much?
1. Amazing customer service! She’s so friendly and kind and I don’t ever feel like she’d take advantage of me! I trust her work and fairness!
2. Great quality! She really took the time to help me figure out the best ways to alter my clothes! The first time I came I brought with me 13 dresses (yup, I know. I should’ve had them altered much sooner)! Each dress came out perfectly and now they all fit like a glove! :)
3. Reasonably priced! Best price for the quality work, turn around time, and service!
She doesn’t do wedding dresses, but she’s done amazing work on my dresses, rompers, tops & skirts to help them fit me perfectly! :)

I am so glad I found this alteration place through Unilocal.I have been bringing my clothes to Mrs. Lee a couple of times this year now and am very satisfied with her quality work and service. The price is also very reasonable. I will be using her for all my alteration needs for a long time to come!

I’m a strong supporter of most moms’ and pops’ business not limited to just my neighborhood. So when i discover new spots I am happy with, im pretty much a lifer. And this obviously applies not just to restaurants but to other private business/​services.
I typically use my regular dry cleaner for simple hemming of pants/​slacks/​skirts etc. They do tend to get pricey if I ask for them to do a little more like adding a strap to a sleeveless dress etc… So I knew it was time to explore a real alteration shop.
I Unilocaled and Unilocaled. And next city over my hood, I find this place tucked away next to the Royal Vista Golf Course inside a huge and busy shopping plaza. A very sweet and friendly Korean lady runs the place. Very pleasant. Gives you precise pricing. And prompt with her work. And her work is amazing. I’ve had no complaints thus far.
She’s tightened the back of a few dresses, added straps, etc… I have been very pleased with her services these couple of years and I don’t think I ll go elsewhere.
She is conveniently off the freeway with plenty of parking outside her shop. She is open everyday but closed on Sundays.

This was my first time getting anything hemmed so i was a little skeptical about it first. I had a little trouble finding where this Alteration shop was until i found out it was next to the barbershop. Anyways, as soon as i walked in, this nice Korean lady greeted me and provided great customer service! I brought in 3 pairs of chinos 2 days ago that were a size 34 on the waist and leg length. Usually i wear a size 32 so i told her how i wanted the pants to look like. She has dressing rooms available and asks me to put on the pants to see how loose and baggy it looked on my and started to mark and pin what she was going to cut and fix. I did feel a little bad because she had signs saying from the 18 till next month she’d be gone. I had asked why was she going to close for soo long and she responded by saying she was going to Korea. Hearing that she had a look of annoyance on her face and i said it would be ok for me to wait for her, but she insisted on fixing my pants. After i got a call from her and came back to her shop she had me try on the pants and they fit and looked exactly what i wanted it to be. I am always gonna come to her shop. By the way does anyone know her name? Lol

This little alteration place is being handled by a sweet Korean lady. Her work is fast – I brought in a pair of denim jeans to be hemmed (only $ 7) and it was done the next day. Craftmanship is up to par. No loose threads, the thread color matched completely and really sewed on well. I will be a returning customer and would highly recommend this place!
Tips: This place is in the same plaza as the Rite Aid and Greenland grocery store on the corner of Nogales and Colima. See pics I took as to where this shop is.
Also, it looks like her place will be closed on Sept. 18, 2015 to Oct. 10, 2015. She’s going on vacation.

Went in to get the band of one of my new bras tighten and she did a fabulous job! Couldn’t even tell she altered it, very professional looking. At first she cut off about an inch but it was still a bit too loose for my likings so she went ahead and took off another inch for me and now it fits pretty good. I only paid $ 7, which is an awesome price, definitely will be coming back for all of my alterations!

She is the best! She can work wonders. I had a costume that I needed hemmed before Halloween and couldnt find someone who could or would do it. She did it very well and with the quickness. I come back for all my alteration needs. She is just awesome.

I went to this place a month ago after reading the Unilocal reviews. The shop was a bit difficult to find but I found it eventually. This lady was very sweet and patient. She explained the pricing very clearly to me. She is also a very speedy worker. I had 3 pants (one with lining) done for $ 24. I would definitely go back.

I have a habit of stopping in at dry cleaners and alterations shops to ask the price for hemming jeans. I once took a couple pairs to the local dry cleaner, and they used thread that did not even attempt to match the ones used in my jeans.
I stopped in here and the price was $ 1 cheaper than the other places, so I thought I’d give her a try. The alterations expert is the sweet korean lady who was quick and professional. She always had my pants ready by the next day, and she does a great job, too!
I would recommend this place to anybody who needs some alterations done! Next time I am bringing my dress pants in, we’ll see how it goes!
