They have the cutest chicks, baby birds and ducks.
Early this year, I bought 2 very adorable baby chicks for my friend for her birthday from here. They do tell you that you are purchasing females and if the chick turns out to be a rooster, you can bring it back to exchange. They also sell bird feeds and bedding. I got a bunch of supplies for my friend from here as well.
Many months later, the chicks have grown up into beautiful hens and they are now laying eggs almost once a day. Very cool place!

Been buying straws, hay, alfalfa from them for decades for garden mulch. Pellets for rabbits, chicken feed for our hens, even some dog food for the pet dogs. We just bought some fancy Holland Lop and their owners got them eating Kelley’s pellets which I can’t seem to find near me and had to travel way to Norco area to buy. I gave Cantrell’s a call and although they don’t have it right now, I was told they can get it for me cuz they go get their stock of stuff weekly, just have to call in advance and they can get me Kelley’s. I am happy!

Been coming to Cantrell’s since I moved to Diamond Bar in 2006.
The Owner, Debbie, is very nice and knowledgeable, always willing to answer questions about their wide range of feed/​food and related animal/​pet products. Debbie recommended a specific dog food which cured our Aussie Shepherds ‘digestive issues’ and they have very fair pricing on everything. Big plus: They will load your vehicle for you.
Hopefully Rowland Heights will get their act together soon and finish the dang road construction as it’s so unfair to all of the businesses along this section of Walnut Drive!

This place helped me complete a very special project. Thanks to the lady who works there but didn’t get her name. She was about to leave in her car and was nice enough to stop and help me out since they close @ 6pm i got there 15 till. In all i got great help awesome service. I never knew this place excited and have been driving by here for many years. But you can’t miss the place. Prices well i never had the need for hay but was surprised at what i payed for a hay stack. I thought these things where allot. So i needed hay to complete a Nativity project. Thanks CANTTELL’S ill leave you with a pic of what i used it for.

Awesome!
1. Perfect and cheap price: I bought the Oxbow essential pellet that is usually about 15 – 16 in petsmart but it’s only 9.95 here or the huge bag pellet for 25!!!
2. Nice peeps there: this lady keeps helping me with every question I had without getting frustrated and is really willing to help, she has this bright smile when I walk in even though she’s on the phone. She even offer free hay for my rabbit to see if my rabbit likes it because the price is really cheap for the hay and I didn’t want a bad quality hay for my rabbit and she was perfectly fine with it so she offered me free hay.
3. Chicks!!!: I love the chicks, it’s so cute and there is this poster to show me how the chicks will be like when he or she is a adult and also how her eggs will look like.
4. Lots of product: I seen a lot of huge box and products that I never seen before.

I love this place for dog food. My dogs don’t get the runs with this food. The lady her are really helpful and if you need help to your car with the dog food they will help.

Great prices and service. One of the few places that carries Mazuri tortoise food. Very friendly environment, if they don’t have what you need, they will order it for you. They even help load your purchases in your car! Hard to find good old fashioned customer service, like Cantrell’s Feed Bin. I normally don’t leave reviews, but this place is exceptional!

I make the drive to Cantrell’s’ to buy hay because they often have the alfalfa-​grass mix I prefer to feed my mule. Plus the prices are very reasonable, which allows me to «stock up» when they have it. Several local feed stores don’t carry that type of hay, and they are more expensive in general. I also buy my scratch feed, fly spray, etc. I have recommended them to several friends, particularly «chicken» people. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and my dogs love going there, too. :) :) Happy customer!

Excellent variety of healthy dog food and at a reasonable price. Bought a bag of dry food and also considered buying wet food but wasn’t sure if my pup would like it. Lady behind the counter gave me a free can to try and my dog loved it. Bought a whole case of wet food after that! Highly recommend.

I’m rating it based on the timothy hay that I bought. I purchased a big bale of hay probably around 100 lb. It’s was good for my rabbit, but he only ate half of what I give him because he doesn’t eat the ones that are not fresh and grassy. When I bought it it was half dead/​yellow stems and a little less than half of the green grass. I stored the hay in my garage. Depending on the month you buy it, varies in the type of timothy hay you’ll get. It’s the closest I know in Rowland Heights.

Excellent customer service. Came here due to vet’s recommendation to switch my dog’s food to a more premium quality, and the gal that worked here sure knew exactly what to recommend. She was thorough with her explanations on each of the brand, pros and cons, and also gave a very generous amount of samples. Would recommend this place to family and friends!
