Tip: If this company does you wrong(and trust me, they will), call AT&T corporate to complain. They will eagerly take down this place’s address. Tip 2: There is an actual AT&T store with real AT&T employees 1 block down the street at the mall. Go THERE. I created an account specifically to review this store. Unlike the previous reviewers, I’ve had a very positive* experience. In dealing with this location, I’ve learned many valuable skills, such as patience, persuasive speaking, learning to control my temper, and the necessity of researching everything that comes out of their lying mouths. *1 star for the sheer inanity of their service. My family has been with this company since before they were at this location(6+ years), so naturally we expected some kind of loyalty benefits, even if inconsequential. February 2011: I wanted to add $ 5/mo texting plan to my line. I was told I would have to cancel my contract, pay an ETF, re-sign a new contract. I had to PAYTHEMMOREMONEYTOPAYTHEMMOREMONEY. 1 very long year later, I called AT&T corporate on another matter and related this story. They basically said«That’s insane. They’re an authorized retailer, and they’ll basically tell you anything so that you don’t change your contract.» Lesson #1: Just because they are the same ethnicity and can speak the same language as your parents, doesn’t mean they’re not going to gut you as badly as someone who is of a completely different background. Lesson #2: Sometimes authorized resellers are decent. Other times they’re abysmal. If they tell you something insane, check with corporate. NEGATIVE stars. Not because they charged me extra, but because their unforgivable business practices prevented them from charging me extra.

Like a previous poster said. They don’t deserve any stars. This is the worst place to go to get HONEST service. I went here to add a line to my existing AT&T account and I was offered only the 700 minute family talk plan. It was a good thing I went home to think about this because I went online and I saw that AT&T offers a 550 family talk plan for less! I was so upset. They also wanted to charge me for the phone and that too was free online with a free bluetooth headset. They DONOTCARE about their customers. Their bottom line is making money and getting people to sign up at the highest plan they can get them in. I had even expressed to them that I did not want to pay a lot, blah blah blah, and still they kept pushing a higher rate plan with all these other additional services I did not need or want. I was so pissed when I found the lower priced plan online. They LIED and said that the 700 plan was the lowest. What a bunch of BS. DONOTGOHERE! Go online or someplace reputable. They will not give out free accessories or anything else. Its worse than getting your phone at the mall!

First of all they don’t deserve even one star! This company likes to put misleading advertising to lure you in and then you end up getting different things with bunch BS. That’s what happen to us back in August 2010. The time it took to sign up the new contract was long and unprofessional done by ‘part-time’ sales. We had to return to the store 3 – 4 time just to get the correct paper work processed. Now we are finding that the store still entered incorrect information on my file with AT&T and also made up something I am not aware on my contract in their computer. And again I was at the store for another 3 hours waiting for them to solve the problem and still couldn’t be resolved. It was just a nightmare from the start when we signed the contract and soon after we found out the sales who helped me no longer works there. So I am just pushed around. If you like to get AT&T, go elsewhere but AWG. I would not recommend this store to anyone!

So let me tell you about my disaster of an experience at this cell phone place. It is very recent that I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T because of the Iphone. I open a four-line family plan, one of which is an Iphone. Instead of charging me for one iphone, one of the employee there, charges me for three Iphones. To make the situation worst, when I see these charges pending, I call them immediately to have them take action. They told me to calm down and that they’ll take care of it. ONEWEEKLATER, my account is in overdraft because they charged an excess of $ 800(three Iphones more) even though I specifically alerted them of their mistake previously. Oh, and to make it even worse, they didn’t even hook my line correctly. This resulted me into having five working lines instead of four. The Iphone has a completely different number we had never selected. When I called for help, they said there is nothing they can do. It’s up to AT&T. I called AT&T and they could not believe how any«authorized carrier» can create such a HUGEMISTAKE. I guess the only thing I have in common with AWG is committing a HUGEMISTAKE… of ever signing up for AT&T through their business. This is THEWORSTPHONEEXPERIENCE ever! If I can change something, it’d be to never go back. My advice — go somewhere else. It’ll make you hate your iphone even since I have gone through so many loops to finally have it function.

Long waits, horrible service. Promised rebates that weren’t delivered. Constantly calls to «remind» me to come in and get a new phone/contract, and contract doesn’t end for another 3 months. Don’t bother.
