I wish I could give 0 stars for this doctor. David Lee is possibly the worst Doctor I had the misfortune of visiting. I made an appointment 1 month in advance only to wait an extra 2 hours to be seen by him. Aside from that, my entire visit was so I could get a referral to a specialist. After ARGUING with me for fifteen minutes about the necessity of seeing a specialist, which my previous and much more qualified doctor recommended, he sends me off telling me he would write a referral immediately. 8 weeks later I still haven’t received a referral, after many follow up phone calls. Finally his staff told me over the phone that there was never a pending referral and that I need to pay him another visit to get one in motion. Steer clear of this guy.

This place is the worst doctors office I’ve been at. This is my 3^rd visit and I have to say that even with an appointment you will have to wait up to an hour. The front seems empty because they will call you and stick you in a room and ask you to wait a few minutes. It’s been 40 minutes and I’m still waiting. My first visit was the worst, I had to update my shots. After my shots he asked me if I had anymore questions I told him that I get acne on my butt very often. He then responded by saying in a laughing way I don’t want to see that. (Very unprofessional) it seems like he treats his patients like it’s just a joke. I asked him if he could prescribe some kind of ointment or any remedies he just changed the subject. He then asked if I smoked previously and I told him yes. He said ok I’m going to refer you to an xray tech. Well that never happened. décor is nice with nice Sony flat screen TV in each waiting room but they don’t turn it on. They just make you wait… bottom line… nice office, friendly staff, and horrible doctor.

DAVID LEE does not deserve to be a doctor and he is by far THE WORST DOCTOR ON THIS PLANET. David Lee does not care about about his patients, I asked him to give me a referral to a good OBGYN, instead he referred me over to a doctor specializing in colon. When I called in to ask him to give me a new referral, he actually asked me to visit him again and pay again before he can refer me to the correct doctor.
Honestly, I feel like he is really just there for the money.
so if you are reading my view, PLEASE DO NOT GO SEE THIS PERSON! HE IS THE WORST DOCTOR ON THIS PLANET! HE DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE A STAR OR HIS MEDICAL LICENSE!

If I could give zero stars I would. I took my daughter to him after visiting the ER for an X-​ray of her ankle that showed it was fractured. The next morning I call to get her in to see him so he could request a referral to an Ortho. They were able to get her in the same day at 3:30pm. He told me that he would put in for an urgent referral to the foot Doctor to see if she needs a cast or a boot. That was on Thursday. Monday morning I call to find out if the referral had come through to find out that they had just submitted it that morning! What a lazy doctor! He has my daughter waiting to see a specialist for a broken bone and he waits till after the weekend to even submit it when he said he was going to do it on Thursday. We will be switching doctors ASAP and I wouldn’t waste your time or money coming to this uncaring POS who shouldn’t be a doctor in the first place!

Went in for a referral to see a specialist back in July and after couple month and several phone calls later still haven’t got any responses from Dr. Lee. I urge anyone not to use Dr. Lee as their physician.

This place is genuinely the worst doctors office I’ve ever been too. People should be suing this guy for medical malpractice. A while back, I had to reschedule my appointment because of an emergency. I asked the ladies in the front if I could reschedule, and they said no. What do you mean I can’t reschedule!!! I ended up not rescheduling and leaving. Today, I called the office again to see if I could schedule an appointment. They said I couldn’t. They told me I had to find another doctor because there was a note on my file that said I couldn’t reschedule an appointment again… Ever.

Dr lee is a really nice person. He would spend time to go over the lab report with my mom. Also, my mom can get into the office at once when she need urgent appointment. Thank you for dr lee and the ladies in his office.

I swear to God if there was an option for negative stars, this would be perfect. Unfortunately that isn’t the case. So I have had Dr. Lee for about 2 years. Every time I have gone, the visits take about 4 minutes max. That is from the time he walks in to diagnose you to the time he walks out. He literally looks at you for a second then magically tells you what he thinks it is. No further examination than just a visual one. That is my first problem with him, second of all is the problem with referrals. This one is a HUGE problem. I have had an ingrown toenail for about 2 years now. I have gone 3 times. Yes 3 times for the same problem and for new referrals. The first time, I never got an email with the referral attached to it. The second time they never even bothered to get it. And now this time, the third time. I haven’t got it again. It has been about two months since I had gone to get it. I went along with a back injury I had that needed x-​rays. I literally barely got it right now on May 6^th. When was my appointment? March 27^th. I call and call and call and I never get answered. I try to leave a voicemail, it’s full. I try contacting the doctor and it is the exact same thing. I wish I could sue this entire medical group because they are definitely in the wrong business. I have been neglected, multiple times I have been ridiculed in front of patients due to arguing with Dr. Lee’s assistants over THEIR faults and worst of all I’m still here, 2 years later with all the exact same problems I’ve had since day one of having this man as a «doctor» I hope somebody from A– ONE medical group reads my entire review and actually opens their eyes because being a doctor means being there for people, it is a responsibility. You are putting people’s health and even lives at stake. The office is absolutely beautiful, he has laptops in every room and projectors in them to display any medical transcripts for patients. How can you be such a crappy doctor and have this kind of money you ask? Scamming insurance companies by what he does. He doesn’t do what he is supposed to do as a doctor and takes the easy way out just for money. I hope to God karma kicks in one day and bites him and his assistants in the ass worse than anyone can imagine. I 110% for sure recommend not wasting your time with this person. Unless you want to be neglected. Your choice!

Today my dad went to get a referral from him to go to eye doctor because my dad told me he sees black spot on his vision but the dr. Lee sent my dad back saying ‘you’re not even sick and nothing wrong with your eyes, so come back in 2 week!!! wtf.’ He’s not even an eye doctor how does he know if needs to go or not.
I’m so mad and disappointed! Don’t go here!

I used to have Dr. David Lee as my family physician when I was younger. At the time I thought he was very kind and compassionate, always vibrant with character, and a fast worker too. Now that I’m older I’ve realized he probably just rushed me through the process and out the door from the get go. I went to Dr. Lee for a referral to see a specialist. I’m coughing up black sputum, having chest pains, and constantly fatigued. 3 weeks passes, I leave 3 voicemails, and still nothing.
Your job is important, Mr. Lee.

i don’t write review online but i am very unsatisfied with their service. It was my 3 rd visits over 3 years for physical check out. 2 months ago, i had a check out and was suggest to visit an eye doctor. After 2 months and several voicemail no one return my call. Yes, Dr. Lee is friendly but i need my eye checked. No return call is extremely unprofessional.

Dr. David Lee is a horrible doctor, he misdiagnosed me for 4 years, I had a consistent cough and he insists its an allergy. Recently paid a visit to Kaiser and problem solved, turned out I had a problem with stomach acid. Only 1 doctor at this location and he treats 10 different patients at once, talks to each one about 2 minutes then comes to a conclusion about what’s wrong with you without thinking or experience.

Its been 3 weeks and still no word from the referral.
Called many times to follow up and the best they could do is forward you to David Lee’s voicemail. Left several message but no reply or nothing happens at all.
Have been going to David Lee for years but this time is unacceptable. Will be changing physician. I suggest you do too.
Rude staffs especially the Spanish speaking ones. They could care less on whats going on. Very irresponsible clinic.
Phone is hard to call in too. Been trying to call in for several days but no luck. Im not sure if they are too busy or just put it straight to voicemail.

never get to see the actual doctor, i was referred by my relatives. After 2 weeks i made the change of physician on my health insurance website, i called and made an appointment for body check with my wife, several days later they called back said my appointment was cancelled because he’s not my appointed doctor. i thought i did not complete the transfer, i went online checked and called the insurance company and confirmed that my transfer was completed, i called the office back told them to check again which they refused and ask me to call the insurance company to call them. My insurance called and had to teach them how to verify patient information; so they will cancel your appointments if the staffs are confused or lack of knowledge.
second time i had to call in to cancel my appointment because i had to extend my business trip, my wife called and everything was ok on the phone.
today when my wife called again to make appointments, they said Dr Lee will not accept me as patient any more because i cancelled the appointment 2 times! and also said my wife insurance was suspended and have to pay them cash if my wife wants to go! i called the insurance company immediately to find out, but turned there’s nothing wrong with my account! when my wife called them back told them they were the one who cancelled our appointment the first time and there’s nothing wrong with our insurance, they said: ok, i can schedule you two, but your insurance still suspended and need to pay cash and i need to explain to the doctor why i miss the all the appointments!!!
how can these people stay in business? feels like they are denying our insurance and refuse to do their jobs to verify information or they just want us to pay cash??? i won’t use this place again and definitely won’t recommend anyone to them.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Lee for quite a few years and I’ve always had a good experience with him. He’s very straight forward and is always really nice. His staff is seriously another topic for discussion though. They are rude and I’m sure they could care less.
Anyway, I went to see him earlier this year about back pain. Might I mention, EXTREME back pain at night to the point that I wake up after 3 hours of sleep. He told me he would refer me to get an Xray. 3 weeks pass and I hear nothing, so I called his office. They sent me to his voicemail and nothing ever came of it. I called his office almost twice a week for 4 weeks. And this is as I’m suffering through some really bad back pain at night still… with no answers.
Long story short: left 10 messages for Dr. Lee, spoke with his staff at least 20. Nothing.
His office is way too busy, he has too many patients. I guess its all about the money, because his new office in DB looks like a 5 star hotel with a 60 inch tv in every room. So unnecessary… why not just provide better service.

Literal garbage.
Do not choose this doctor unless you seriously don’t care about your health.

So, ive been waiting here for about 2 hours now and still counting :) my appointment was at 4 and I think theyre racist because, all the chinese people went ahead of me and they came around 5. Please do yourself a favor and DONT come here. Dr. Lee is unprofessional and is very blunt. He just straight up says you’re fat. Who does that? You know american doctors wouldnt ever do that. Im so ashamed of being korean because hes extremely rude. Guys, you’re gonna be waiting for atleast 1 hr when you come here. The 2 stars arent a joke. Everyone is correct about his blunt remarks, unprofessional staff & service. DONT COME HERE!
**UPDATE** 3 hours has passed :) also, I asked him «do you normally make your patients wait 3 hours?» And then his face turned red like a tomato, and yelled at me saying «YOU CAN ALWAYS GET ANOTHER DOCTOR. YOU KNOW WHAT? GET ANOTHER DOCTOR!!!» Hahaha! Then, my grandmother asked «how long does she take this medicine for?» And he literally slammed the doctors note in my hand, and just walked out slamming the door. Hahaha major anger issues! Do not go here :) wordsbof advice.

It’s unfortunate that I have to write about what recently happened with Dr. Lee and his staff given that my family and I have called him our primary physician for more than 10 years, but at least this post will help people make a better decision than we did.
Quite simply, I went in for my first physical of the year as fully covered by my insurance, and was wrongfully charged a $ 45 copayment. I called their office and found out through Francis, who’s in charge of billing, that the doctor had written «heartburn» in my file. Now, what’s wrong about this?
Because that day when I went in to see him, I asked him no other questions other than if I had protection against measles and to please make sure that I could take all the tests that were part of my physical (blood sample, so on so forth) so why should I have «heartburn» written down in my record? I’m a young person with no symptons of heartburn, and I definitely did not divulge anything of that nature to Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee himself spent a little extra time with us (me and my mom) because we are old patients and we chit-​chatted about travels, but just because he was happy to talk to us about matters outside the realm of a doctor-​patient relationship does not mean that we patients should have to pay for how he chooses to use his time. Much less record a diagnosis that simply did not happen.
Let’s take a step back from the fact that this is illegal and consider the service, or lack thereof, that Dr. Lee’s staff provides. I called Francis and we ended up arguing on the phone for close to an hour during which I was fed lines like «Do you know how many patients the doctor sees in one day?» to «Sometimes patients don’t know or don’t want to pay their copayment.» No real conversation happened during that phone call because Francis was just not willing to hear what a concerned patient had to say. She ended up fobbing me off by saying that she would e-​mail the doctor and see what he says.
Since then it has been almost two weeks and I have called her three times and the doctor once. Every call went directly to voicemail. I may have to end up paying the $ 45 copayment for fear of it going to the collection center and ruining my credit, and at this moment in time I don’t have the wherewithal to afford lawyer services. I guess this is how the game is played, huh?
I’m definitely angry about this issue, top to bottom. From the fact that Dr. Lee wrote whatever he wanted in my file to earn extra money from my insurance and from my pocket, and from how his staff talks down to patients. None of this is in keeping with the Hippocratic oath.

Not exactly sure how I feel about Dr. Lee, but the staff there (especially billing) is absolutely horrendous! Not only did they charge me twice for a check up, but the whole time dealing with the billing staff was just such a headache.
Dr. Lee is a very extremely blunt and rude doctor, and I don’t think I will be back using his services. After everything that I have been through with them, I will be looking for a new doctor.

2 for getting an appointment/​the wait
Dr. David Lee has been my family doctor for a few years now. He’s a very nice and friendly doctor. The Dr. speaks Mandarin Chinese, Korean and Spanish.
Every time I call to make an appointment, the ladies would tell me the earliest appointment is 2 weeks from that day. Really??? Often times I just get fed up and do a walk-​in, which… if you don’t have at least 2 hours to wait, forget it.
His diagnostics usually is done withint 10 – 15 minutes.
