VIP Skin Spa

I am supposed to be working, but in the middle of a «Murder Made Me Famous“marathon, I decided I needed a facial. Because if I’m going to be killed by my husband/​children/​vacation hookup, then I want to go with flawless skin.
Thankfully, I was able to squeeze in an appointment on a holiday weekend, which I was late to because I had to see how the show ends (spoiler alert: everyone either dies or goes to jail). The ladies were super sweet and welcoming and they are operating on a Tom Haverford/​Donna Meagle level of pampering. While I filled out the paperwork, I was given a warm neck pillow and a glass (not a Dixie cup) of my choice of lemon or orange water. (Whaaaa?!?). Then I was offered an upgrade to Pumpkin Pie Exfoliating Facial, which I accepted because Fall.
My custom facial was only 30 minutes but it didn’t feel rushed at all– the way you do at one of those chain places where you can tell the esthetician is trying to fit in a quick ciggy before her next appointment. Sheryl was relaxing and asked if I wanted a head massage, which weave, so no. Again, I had another warm towel put behind my neck during the facial, which is now my new favorite thing. I’m going to bring warm towels to my movies!
The Pumpkin Pie Exfoliation smelled delicious and not at all like a crazy candle. Sheryl also exfoliated with some tool that sounded and felt like a skinny electric razor. No idea what it was but it felt good. She asked if I wanted an extraction which was a really nice way of asking if I wanted the tumor-​sized pimple removed from my forehead. I normally hate
extractions because having some lady squeeze my zit and wipe it with a paper towel is just eww. But Sheryl used some new-​fangled device where she zapped the sucker instead. It wasn’t licked on by kittens but it wasn’t the typical extraction torture, either.
All-​in-​all I had a great a experience and will make this my go-​to place. Not only because it’s closer to my home than the big Austin spas, but because it’s the homey, Cheers-​like place where everyone knows your name.

First time having the Pure Oxygen Facial… AMAZING! My skin is glowing, refreshed and happy! I already scheduled my next appointment for the same facial.

I am a big fan of Shelly. I bought a Groupon and I have to say this is one of my best groupon purchases ever! Shelly had some technical issues so she called me to reschedule and when I told her about my travel plans she was willing to accommodate me in her after office hours and to top it off, she gave me a free upgrade because of the rescheduling. The place is nice, parking is ample, near and convenient location in RR, service is excellent. 5 stars. If you have ever been to Facelogic spas, be prepared for something even better.

Complete relaxation and pampering from the second I walked in the door. I had an appointment with Shelly and was greeted with the option of some fresh water infused with orange or some fresh tea. I was shown where to change into a robe and then takin into the relaxation room to fill out a first time (very quick, but thorough) client sheet. The questions are actually very important to the services that you will receive. Then we started on the me time: D
I opted for a «backcial» which is pretty much a facial for the back and it was sooooo relaxing, I recommend it to anyone, spa veterans included. The backcial I got came with the works! A nice rub to start off with, some hot steam to open my pores, a great exfoliating scrub, and an amazing detox mask. Even a little bit of foot reflexology, which was a very relaxing touch.
I don’t know how much time elapsed during this, it could have been days for all I care because I was in heaven! Next We got started on my facial, I opted for the diamond tip microderm. I felt FANCY! It felt sooooo good and my skin is still glowing!
When it comes to taking care of guests, Shelly really has a way about it, you are the only one that matters and she has a very gentle touch.
I left the spa feeling cool as a cucumber and relaxed from head to toe, but at the same time I felt like I could take on the world! I also chose to take home a few products, and I’m happy I did! I got DNA repair facial moisturizer and some intensive eye therapy cream which goes on suuuper smooth! OMG I just wrote a novel, but you will see why when you visit Shelly!

I had a facial with Shelly and it was the best I’d ever had. She has magic hands and is extremely knowledgeable. Shelly explained many things to me about skin care that I’d never read or heard. I went today for a lash perm and again, I was very impressed. I’ll be back for sure and look forward to trying additional services. Also, her facility is extremely relaxing and tastefully decorated.

I took my mom in for a facial with Shelly. It was a great experience from start to finish. The relaxation room, bathroom and facial room were all very nice and most important clean! Shelly is great, she explained so much about skin problems and stuff to avoid. I highly recommend her. Overall a great experience. Will be back for sure!

I had the pleasure of having a micro-​dermabrasion yesterday with Shelly Floyd. I have had quite a few facials in my time, but am fairly new to the whole micro-​dermabrasion process. This was only my second one. She is very competent, knowledgeable and has a great touch! Not too firm, not too soft, but just right! The products she used on me were heavenly as well! I also like the fact that she is by appointment only and caters to her clients one person at a time. I did not feel rushed in anyway at all. I loved it so much I have already scheduled my appointment for a visit next month! I highly reccommend Shelly and VIP Skin Spa!!! WONDERFUL!!!
