History

Established in 2011.

Lance Traynham, Micah Lillie and Joe Rush founded Rush Automotive in August of 2011 and opened the doors on September 12th 2011 as the only three employees of their company. Now, relocated at 2211 CR 172 in Round Rock, TX Rush Automotive has 16 employees. We are looking forward to opening our second location in Leader by year end.

His favorite things to do in his free time are spend time with family and friends, attend Church at LifePointe Fellowship in Hutto, and watch Oklahoma Sooner Football.

Micah was amazing from the first time I called with my issue to leaving as a totally satisfied customer! I had never heard of this place before only living in Texas a little short of a year! They were so happy to help me and explain any and everything to me with no attitude or snarky ness! I was actually treated like a human being for a change! I will definitely be back sometime soon! You won’t be sorry!

Great service and comprehensive I would say. I had a blown battery and this was fixed fast and not only that, you get a free checkup of the vehicle done which is truly impressive. Don’t even think once before getting here for you servicing needs.

Rush Automotive has a wonderful staff! They were extremely informative and provided excellent overall customer service. I also was grateful for their great waiting area. I wish we would have found Rush Automotive years ago. Joe and his team there are first class, and do first class work, for VERY reasonable prices. Champagne treatment for a beer budget. We had them tackle several issues with our SUV we are giving our daughter. You could tell they were genuinely interested in taking care of all of our issues and recommending several options to get everything fixed, and it was very evident they had our daughters safety in mind. It’s rare, but this is a place I would have zero hesitation to send my mom or wife and would know without a doubt they wouldn’t get taken advantage of. Just good, honest people. Thanks again!

Originally I was referred to RUSH by Discount Tires for an alignment 4 months ago. I have become a loyal customer already. Come to find out one of the account guys in my Verizon store is a family member of the owner and I came to find out a lot of background on them and it’s no wonder I like them so much. Each time I have used them for service on my car I’ve waited while they worked on my car and got to sit back and also see how they treat other customers and run the business. The waiting room is very comfy, love this place already!

I felt like they addressed all my concerns are were very upfront with the repairs that my car needed. I knew I had been putting things off because I didn’t have the funds, and already expected the bill to be high. I did appreciate that some of the things that were a concern to me they didn’t charge me to fix, because they were able to correct the problems in the inspection. It took awhile the get my car back, they were very busy and typically it takes 2 days to get parts in for my Subaru. I felt like they did everything correctly which sometimes is hard to find in a shop because of my car’s make. I’m happy because my car is happy, I can tell a noticeable difference in the way she drives.
The only things I would say was a little frustrating was getting them to keep me updated with the car while I was waiting for it to be done. And the steering wheel and shift knob were grimy when I got the car back, but I figured they didn’t really have much time to clean when I was in a time crunch to get my car back.

Was refereed to use by Discount tires. Great experience. They aligned our truck and got our check engine light off FINALLY. It was just a loose hose. We had gone to Firestone and they had quoted $ 1600 to alignment do to some severe rust damage (rusted/​sealed) and having to replace rusted parts… guess they were wrong! Rush said the rust was minimal and not metal to metal sealed.

These guys are amazing! I brought my van in first thing on a Saturday. They close at 3pm and they didn’t figure out the problem until after that! They said they would get the van fixed before the mechanics went home! We have used them multiple times and will continue because they are honest and don’t push services if you can’t or don’t want it! Great job guys!

I could not have asked for faster, or more friendly service than what I received form Rush Automotive.
After speaking to Justin yesterday, and getting a quote for a starter replacement on my Honda Civic, I scheduled to have the car towed in to them the next day (today).
The car was towed in at 11:00am, and at 12:30pm I received a call from Justin, letting me know that my car would be ready to pick-​up in just under an hour.
I have never had such a great experience when it comes to my car, and I plan on using Rush for all of my future car needs.
Highly recommended, and super grateful!

I just had Rush Automotive checkout a truck we are buying. They did it fast and when I ask them how much, they said it was no charge for their regular customers. These guys are friendly and reasonably priced on repairs. Best of all they are good at fixing cars and honest !!

Cheapest synthetic oil change in town, excellent service, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I trust these guys to work on my car, whereas whenever I go to the big chains I can’t help but suspect that something was intentionally done wrong so that I’d have to come back again. I highly recommend Rush to everyone in the Austin area. And their new location is great! The waiting room is very spacious and comfortable. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

I don’t like to come here often but I love the service when I do. I think these guys are awesome! They have always been honest and highly respected. I have met some really nice ppl in the waiting area. Good conversations here. They upgraded there location and now they have lofty chairs to recline in. We are shopping for a new car and we have driven cars here to get them checked out before we purchase. So glad we have a trusted mechanic to go to when I have issues! Go to Rush!

Really enjoyed everything about this place. The prices were good, they seemed to be up on the latest technology, and the waiting room had working wi-​fi and comfy chairs.
For now I’ve only tested them in little things (getting my truck aligned) but based on the friendly service and the low prices (best regular price for a full-​synthetic oil change that I’ve seen in town) I plan on coming back again.

These guys are really great! They help me stay on top of needed maintenance and provide excellent service. Maintaining cars isn’t inexpensive but I trust these folks to give me the straight scoop about what’s needed without worrying about am I getting hooked for something unnecessary.

Prices were amazing. I had a small accident and I was referred to Rush Automotive by someone at Discount Tire, when they couldn’t fix my problem. I spend a bit of time looking for Rush (location is next to a Texaco near McNeil, though it’s no where near 1325 as Maps suggests). Once I arrived, I was told it would be a couple hours wait time since I was a walk in and they were swamped. I opted to wait. They got my car in to look at in under an hour, and I was told that damage was substantial and would take several hours, but that they would have it completed by closing time. $ 1000 and 5 hours later, my car was in perfect condition. Both bearings were ripped and I feel like the guy helping me knew this was weighing on me, because he gave me a free alignment ($ 90 value).
Facts:
–They were affordable.
–They were so kind and generous.
–They were fast.
–They were honest.
I will be returning to Rush if I have any other mechanical issues that need to be addressed on my car.

So far so good. Second time back.
The first time here I had a front-​end alignment. They had a nice print out of how far out of alignment I was. Prior to this I had taken my truck to another mechanic for an alignment, but was disappointed with the results. Rush fixed it right the first time.
Today I am having my brakes and rotors replaced.
