We are a Round Rock dental family practice, seeing people of all ages from 3 to 93 and all dental needs. We can see emergency patients on the same working day that they call if they call before 2pm. We accept insurance assignments, file insurance claims, and accept all major credit cards. View services page for more information. We do porcelain crowns, bleaching, lumineers, root canals, fillings, extractions, etc. We have nitrous oxide (laughing gas) available for those who are nervous about their visit.

History

Established in 1996.

We have been located in Round Rock since 1996. Prior to that Dr. Mysse had a dental office in OK. City for 20 years. Prior to that he was in St. Louis for 2 years. He graduated from Wash. U. St Louis Dental School in 1975, and the U. of California in 1971 Magna Cum Laude.

I have been a dentist in the same location in Round Rock Texas since 1996. We do general dentistry for people of all ages. During your exam we use a digital camera to put your mouth on a tv screen. so if there are any problems, you will either see them on our xrays or we will show them to you on tv. we also screen for cancer, high blood pressure and gum problems. We see emergency patients on the same working day that they call us, if they call by 3pm. After 3 pm we may still be able to see them but will surely see them by the next business day. I have been a practicing dentist since 1975, so I have seen most all kinds of dental problems. Our office accepts insurance assignment and accepts all credit cards plus works with care credit for those who need credit help.

Dr. Mysse and his staff were all fantastic. They were very kind to me, my husband, and my 3 ear old son. They let my son watch us get our teeth clean so he would feel comfortable and even gave him a couple prizes for being a good patient. We will defiantly go back.

Pros:
My husband liked the dentist well enough
The office scheduled my husband in fairly quickly after he had a crown (done by another dentist) fall out.
They recommended us to a good oral surgeon when it became needed.
Cons:
We showed up for the first appointment of the day and my husband was left sitting for 45 min to an hour. No apology or explination for the wait. Our time has value, some sort of explination would have gone a long way.
I had a hard time with the manner of the front desk lady. She was brusk.
Poor billing communication. When we got our explination of benefits, it said we owed some money. (Normal insurance stuff, not the fault of the office.) I called and asked if I could just pay the extra before going on a long trip so my payment wouldn’t be late. The front desk assured me that their calculations were correct and wouldn’t let me pay because I wouldn’t owe any money. I came home to a bill for the amount listed on the explination of benefits in my mailbox! Fortunately my check made it in time so I didn’t owe late fees!

I don’t recommend them to ANYONE! They’re not organized and just want your money! I went to them before and when I went to another dentist they found more problem with my teeth than dr mysse did. It’s ridiculous! He made my situation worse than it already was! Cost me more money in the long run! I REGRET referring him to others!

I saw Dr. Mysse after desperately looking for a dentist near my job. I found him from his good reviews on Unilocal,and I now know where the good reviews are coming from. The receptionist was very nice even before I came in for my appointment, and when I arrived, everyone was welcoming. The office is very homey and comfortable as well. The assistant did the intro work (X-​rays, etc.), and Dr. Mysse came in and did the whole exam and cleaning on his own by himself. Usually, dentists and assistants are running around between patients, so I appreciated my first experience with a dentist dedicated to my cleaning entirely. Dr. Mysse was very friendly and comforting to my unnecessary cavity paranoia, and the cleaning was very quick – about 30 minutes. I really enjoyed my visit there, and I’m glad Unilocal helped me find this place. I would highly recommend this place to anybody in the area!

Dr. Mysse and his staff are fantastic! I had a fear of the dentist for years, always dreading my next cleaning– but ever since starting to see Dr. Mysse I don’t even think twice about my next appointment and am totally at ease while in the chair. I can finally walk into the dentist office with no anxiety what-​so-​ever thanks to Dr. Mysse and his welcoming staff. If you’re looking for a kind, caring and very informative dentist with great skill, there is no doubt Dr. Mysse is the perfect dentist to help you care for your smile!

Pros:
1. Dr. Mysse is awesome! He’s incredibly nice, very thorough, and actually takes the equipment out of your mouth when you need to speak.
2. Scans and cleaning were very quick.
3. The staff are all very nice.
Cons:
1. Dr. Mysse couldn’t see me until 45 minutes after my appointment time due to an emergency patient. I wish they had told me either before my appointment or while I was sitting in the waiting room that it would be such a long wait. They were nice about it after the fact, but that’s still 45 minutes I’ll never get back.
Overall, a great dentist. I definitely would have given them a worse review due to the wait if it wasn’t for how awesome Dr. Mysse was.

The staff is generally, nice, and so is Dr. Mysse. The low rating comes from the fact that the tech messed up the x-​rays, and that my secondary issue (a loose tooth, with a feeling like something is wedged in between the gum and said tooth) was not and is not resolved. It seems that something more could have been done for my tooth, other than a cleaning and removal of calculus (sp?), chances are that it’s probably a piece of said calculus that’s stuck, but instead of investigating further, he feels for looseness of the tooth, and says that it felt fine to him. That being said, and with all fairness, he may have been in a hurry.

Dr. Mysse was absolutely wonderful! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Mysee and the entire office made me feel at ease and that is exactly what i needed because I was actually going to see him for a second opinion in regards to dental issues that i was concerned about. He answered all my questions thoroughly. He discussed everything that was on my x-​rays and used a camera in my mouth so he could explain things about my teeth and gums while i could see it on a tv screen. So glad I found such a great dentist in town! Highly recommended!!!

I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with Dr. Mysse and his wonderful staff and facility.
I have some old crowns on my front teeth I’m terribly self conscious about. I walked in ready to finance a whole new grill to placate my ego. Dr. Mysse could have made bank over my vain neurotic tendencies– however he assured me that most people wouldn’t notice my old dental work and while he could replace my crowns, he would feel like he was taking advantage.
What dentist doesn’t want to squeeze patients for every nickel they can?!
A couple of months later I had an old filling fall apart. The first thing the receptionist asked when I called to make an appointment was if I was in pain and needed any medication until they could accommodate me.
Fantastic services!
Oh and the final selling point for anyone still on the fence– before any procedures are performed you are counseled thoroughly on the expected price of services provided. Most excellent!

I had to change my dentist (who i was very happy with) because i moved to the Round Rock area. I found DR. Mysse based on reviews, and all i can say is that the reviews dont do him justice. This is the best dentist i have been to. His staff is nice and friendly, his office is not large, like others i have been in, but i love the fact that they didnt try to sell me anyting, like a local brand of new dental floss sticks. I only waited 5 minutes past my appointment time, and he performed the cleaning himself. Took time to learn a little bit about me which made the experince so much better. all i can say is if you are in need of a good dentist in the round rock/​pflugerville area, this is the guy for you.

Dr Mysse is a great dentist. He does cater to cowards no question about it. He cleans your teeth and does not have a hygenist do it. The attention you get is very personal and caring. His staff is friendly and it is easy to get an appointment. I ave referred several people to Dr. Mysse and they have been very pleased with their experience at his office. If you are looking for a hassle free dentist this is the one to go to.
