The previous reviewer«nathan d» must either own this truck or part of the family, maybe dating a relative, or a food truck groupie that leaves positive reviews to anything mobile. I ordered some kind of Asian pulled pork sandwich that tasted more like a dirty feet burger. Now eat here if you want… then write back and see who is honest, me or nathan. I’m not even gonna get started on the crusty lookin lady making the sandwiches

I walked to this end of the trailer park to visit Curly’s, which has been closed the past few evenings I’ve visited due to selling out. But before I got there, I was drawn to this flame-painted UPS-shaped truck with the cartoon animals and the punny name. With the luxury of a small army of eaters with me, I ordered the two most appealing sandwiches on the menu: the Hot Hawaiian and the Grilled Bacon Mac & Cheese. I paid with a credit card, signed the iPad and in a few moments we were on our way! Between the two sandwiches I tried here, the Grilled Bacon Mac & Cheese was my(and my kids’) clear favorite. The«macaroni» was more fusilli or rotini than the elbow macaroni I normally think of, and it was seasoned with something chopped and green(green onions, chives or possibly leeks) and served with medium-thick cut bacon on grill-toasted buttered bread. Every bite was full of cheesy flavor, and the bacon was a delicious crispy blessing to boot. The Hot Hawaiian was good, but did not really blow me away. The habanero-spiced shredded chicken was served on a football-shaped hoagie roll and had a hard time not falling out onto the picnic table; at the same time I couldn’t pick up on the coconut or asiago flavors I had been anticipating. Not bad, but not the best showing of the bunch. This truck makes a strong impression and deserves its spot in the Round Rock trailer pantheon. If you’re coming just for this truck, however, take careful note of the schedule; they don’t appear to be open every day or even all day on the ones they are open.
