Dropped in without an appointment to have a short shifter and bushings installed. I generally do all of my own auto maintenance and repair but this one was a little more than I wanted to attempt since the driveshaft and transmission needed to be adjusted to reach some of the shifting components. Guys took a look at it and got me a quote in just a few minutes with an explanation of what needed to be done. I was headed out of town that day so planned on making an appointment for when I got back. They said they’d take care of me and pull a mechanic from another job to help get it knocked out quicker.
They dropped me off at home a few miles away and arranged to bring me back when the install was complete. They actually finished about an hour earlier than promised (amazing turn around on the same morning I brought it in!) and had the driver pick me up.
The total was exactly what was quoted, although a little pricier than I expected (isn’t it always?) but the service and quality of work exceeded all expectations. I’m a couple months in and everything is still super tight and working perfectly.

I moved to Round Rock last year and always hate trying to find an honest, fair mechanic. I tried Marioshop because it’s nearby and had great reviews, plus I like to give local, small businesses my money over the chains whenever possible. I couldn’t have been happier with my decision! Mario is friendly, professional and great to work with. His shop is clean and organized looking. We were on a tight schedule getting my step-son’s truck repaired last minute before he left for college. He got us in, checked out the entire truck, called us with what they found, and his recommendations. It seemed fair and right in line with the issues I’d seen with the truck. They managed to get everything fixed before he had to leave which was a big relief. And it even has a 2 year warranty. We will be using Marioshop again for sure!

Took the KIA in today for an overdue oil change. I had called ahead to let them know I would need to do this on my lunch break and would wait for the car. Mario got me right in and out and I even had time to spare!!! Awesome place; very reasonable and honest service here!

Took my car back to Marioshop in Round Rock today for the second time. The first time was about 7 months ago. Again, I got 5 star treatment, in and out quickly, and a very reasonable bill. I would not dream of going anywhere else for automotive repair. It is so nice to find a business owner with integrity who treats people right. My thanks to Mario and to his awesome employees. Mario is a great person with whom to do business. He is polite, helpful, honest, and extremely competent. His shop is a reflection of Mario himself. I have done business with Mario for many years and have always been pleased with the work he has done.
To illustrate how highly that I think of Mario’s work consider the following: I recently purchased a new car and included in the purchase price is two years of free maintenance service from the dealer. However, I choose to forego the free maintenance service from the dealer and instead take the vehicle to Mario and pay him to do the work. Why? Because I trust Mario to do the work competently and I cannot say the same for the dealer.
Bottom line is this … if you are in need of automobile repair or maintenance, take your vehicle to Marioshop. You will be happy that you did.

Mario’s a really good guy. He’s honest and attentive and does fantastic work. His employees are just as great. They’re all well trained in their profession and I especially like the Service Manager. He’s a really nice guy and he’ll pull a few strings to get you in same day at a great price.
After my warranty ran out with the dealership, I’ve been bringing my Mini Cooper S there for all of my service. I’ve had my brakes done there, as well as my oil changes and even a leaky timing tensioner.
They’re always very fast, efficient and in a wonderful location. They are all certified to perform the repairs and specialize in german automobiles.
Everytime I’ve taken my vehicle there, it’s been fast same-​day service. Mario even at one point extended me the courtesy of a small payment plan. He normally wouldn’t do that, but it’s a good practice that’s not really considered much anymore.
The shop is incredibly clean and I see cars in and out of there every day. It’s always been a pleasant experience with the team there.
I’ll be using Marioshop for all of my Mini service needs. They also work with warranties and insurance.
5 Stars for excellent apperance, workmanship and pricing structure, as well as location.

I know Mario from Carl’s Auto before he opened his own shop. I just had my BMW serviced and very satisfied. It is the only shop, besides BMW of Austin ($$$$$) where I will bring my BMW. Mario and his brother are BMW fanatics and not your usual mechanics.

I have a 2004 Honda CRV that would not pass inspection due to a check engine light. After calling about 3 different auto repair shops around town and was quoted about $ 650 for repairs to have my car pass. My husband looked up Marioshop on Unilocal and I’m very happy he did! We were able to have my car pass for a price more then $ 200 less then any other place we called.
Mario’s Shop is a fair and honest auto repair shop and that can be really hard to find. Would recommend this shop to all my family and friends!

Took my 2010 Mitsubishi RalliArt in just for an estimate on getting my oil changed. I had already purchased the particular oil and filter I wanted to use since I usually do maintenance myself; but due to an accident I could not do it. The car is kinda rare and even dealerships can screw up a simple oil change. I have read multiple horror stories on many message boards. They gave me a fantastic price and did it all right then and there. They did not try to oversell me or anything… no pressure!
The shop is clean and the employees very courteous and very knowledgeable. I asked them for a quote on some other work, they got back to me right away and their price was almost half of what the dealer quoted.
I found my «go-​to» shop, finally an honest and trustworthy shop.

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram Truck 4.7 liter V8. My Check engine light came on and I did not know it could be. My friend told me about Marioshop that just opened. Went there talked with Mario himself hes said he could put it on the tester and see what was going on with the truck. Turned out it was just the gas cap being lose. Mario told me where to go to get the best gas cap for my Truck. The best part he did not charge me a dime. Wow now that is super cool.
He had a very clean and professional looking shop I told him about an oil leak I had in the front of my Truck. Other places wanted 400.00 to fixed that leak. he got under the truck and looked at it said it was just a front crankshaft seal and could fix it for 160.00 TTL out the door. told him to go a head and do it.
In this day and age it is so hard to find a mechanic you can trust. Well I just found one that I will use for years to come.
