Kwik Kar Lube & Tune

Realized my registration and thus inspection are due by the end of Oct. I needed to pickup my nieces from school and not much time to spare. Called Kwik Kar and spoke to Jason who said it wasn’t too busy and would take less than 20 minutes. Awesome! Got dressed and jumped in my ride and made the short drive over to Red Bud and Gattis. By this time there were a handful of vehicles waiting. I started to turn around and a young man named D’Andre approached my car. I told him the situation and he said he will get me in fast so I am not late to get the girls. Next thing I know he’s pulling my car in. Josh performed my inspection and removed old sticker from windshield and tidied up. He explained to me how the new 2Steps1Sticker thing works and told me how to get my registration. I appreciated his help and information as I was clueless as to what to do! Thanks guys for saving the day!
Note: They opened up two lanes, there was no cutting or putting me ahead of others. Those two guys just hustled!

Wow these guys really know what they are doing! Quick quality service at a reasonable price is a winning combination. They saved me $ 200 for doing the exact same 15,000 mile scheduled service over the dealer. They even had the dealer suggested service list printed. If you need anything regarding service they probably do it. Quick and thorough state auto inspections are also available. My family, friends and I have all be quite impressed with Kwik Kar.

Poor customer service. Waited in the car like the sign said no one came to help me then I had a guy yell out move your car. I said I just like to know how long until I can get an inspection he says were busy.

Be sure to check in at the counter. I observed a couple of people that were told to park their cars and leave the keys and then got skipped over by other customers arriving later. The place is good with fine service but they can get distracted. You can get in and out pretty quickly or you can waste a couple of hours.

Something is different since the last time I came in. Pushy counter girl who tries to oversell everything and yet has no idea what she’s talking about. No mechanic onsite to troubleshoot a problem, which was a blessing in hindsight.
The guy who used to run the counter had this place running like a well oiled machine. After 8 years of service, we will be finding someone else for oil changes and inspections.

Can’t really find fault in this place. The service is good and unlike other reviews, I don’t feel any pressure when I go. I have had numours services done and they are always honest with what they recommned. The waiting area is nice and clean and a lot bigger than any other in the area. The employees are nice and Professional. I’ll be coming back as long as I live in the area.

i have been going to this location for a few years now until recently i have noticed a few changes.
I was a bit confused when i pulled up and thought to have seen customers in the bay but to find out they were employee’s wearing everyday clothing and not in uniform… found that to be a little bit odd.
One other thing that i experienced and did not like at all, a girl was pressuring and demanding me to get new windshield wipers replaced when I had just replaced them myself… i felt very uncomfortable with her making me feel belittled and thinking i don’t know a thing about cars…
but i still enjoy the quick service and very clean waiting area.
Their mechanic is one of the best in town, he’s alway’s honest and does great work!

Joseph and Marc were great. I am very pleased with their service and professionalism! I would recommend this place for your car anytime!

Wow! Fast, knowledgeable, and good service! My good friend kyle recommended me to this place and I can’t thank him enough for the referral. I highly recommend coming here. I have a 2007 Yukon Denali and they literally had me in and out in about 12 minutes!

We have been taking our car here for several years. They are great for everything from oil changes to brake repair. Evan, one of the mechanics, is efficient and knowledgeable. All of the guys on the crew are helpful and friendly. Unless I need a major repair that can only be handled by a dealer or a full-​service shop, I feel great about taking my car to Kwik-​Kar.
I took my car in for some work that was going to take a few hours. They gave me a ride home and then came to pick me up once the repairs were complete.
I can’t say enough about how great these guys are and how well they will take care of you.

These guys were fast and friendly. One of the guys walked out and met me at my car. They got an oil change and overall system check done in about 15 minutes. I don’t feel like they tried to take advantage of me and sell lots of extras. I will be back for my next oil change.

I am SO a fan. They apologized that my inspection took so long. It took 15 minutes! HA! That’s the fastest I’ve ever had it done. Silly nice people.
Check this place out, ladies. They won’t treat you differently just because you’re a woman.

This is the worst place if you are wanting timely service. Especially if you only need a safety inspection. They will put you behind everyone who needs more service. Then I noticed greasy hand prints outside the car and inside on the steering wheel. Very unprofessional team!

wow can i talk about trying to up sell. i know my car real well. i try to do the air filters and top off my fluids my self, but oh man, ive never been so pressured to bye anything so hard. i stopped ny here to get an oil change done, i noticed it was over and i need some where quick. i was at h-​e-​b and saw this place across the street. so went in and next thing this guy is comes in and tells me i need a new air filter, a new cabin filter, a new fuel filter. he about ran out of breath talking to me. so i asked him to show me these things but he just kept insisting the needed to be changed, and would not show them to me. so i said i take care of them my self. he replies that im not able to do these things my self, that they have to be done by a certifed professional. i caught my self before i started laughing. i told him no. then he tells me that i need to do them to keep my car running or it will die on the road. about this time i was ready to get out with my car in tack. finally after 4 no’s he goes out and i’m watching him and he seems upset that i said no. i was worried about my car. i watch him closely, and as he finishes he slams my hood really hard looking at me, like he is mad, the most unfreindly look i’ve i ever seen at a any buisness. so instead of complaining i desided i would come here and write what i feel, and hope all will read this, and avoid this place as i am.

Wow these guys really do it right!
I live just about .5 miles from this shop so I’ve been using them for almost 2 years. Always fast friendly and competent, they even sent a worker down to jump my truck when my battery died at no charge, so when my radiator started leeking I took it to them. They replaced the radiator in a timely manner at a fair price and I went on my way.
Unfortunately about a week later I was in Austin when my tranny conked out. It turns out one of the hoses involved with the radiator/​tranny had slipped off, to make a long story short, I had the truck towed back up to the shop, where they quickly replaced the hose clip and fluid at no charge, and paid my towing bill, no questions asked.
We all make mistakes, it’s how you handle them that counts. These guys have my business for a long time!

I often stop by this Kwik Kar when I’m due (or sometimes long overdue) for an oil change. It’s close to my house so sometimes while I’m out running an errand, it’s just convenient to stop here and get the oil changed.
They have one of the nicer waiting areas compared to other places. It’s clean and they keep gossip mags on hand to read. I never have to wait very long before my car is up and ready to go.
