Friendly and helpful staff, great international products, beautiful fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit. Mangoes are in stock right now, and are perfectly delicious. And I always pick up large bundles of dill and mint at an amazing price.
This is my go-​to spot for lentils, and I aim to try every kind they have. I especially love the red lentils (so quick and easy to cook) and the black matpe beans. I also love their selection of rices, spices, tea biscuits, teas, and more!
Every staff member there is friendly, conversational, proud of the products they sell, and knowledgeable about them too. So, if you have questions, definitely ask and they’ll help you.

I was desperate for decent curry paste! HEB and Randall’s didn’t have the brand I like. I was about to drive to Austin to World Market when I remembered seeing this place a while back. I finally had an excuse to check it out! Excellent selection of spices! And they sell giant bags of red lentils for was less than HEB. They also carry my favorite curry paste. The dude at the counter was super friendly. I’ll be back for sure!

We were looking for traditional grape leaves to roll our own Domades and this store had them. Usually we have to go into downtown Austin to find them. We are so happy to have found this market. The staff was very helpful and the store has many interesting items. Worth the visit.

My husband is from Trinidad and we wanted to get goat because his family was visiting. Although the wait was a little long, my bro-​in-​law, said it was the best butcher/​prep job on goat that he has seen. He did not have to do any additional preparation. He just had to season and cook. Next time we will call ahead so we don’t have the long wait time.

As good as the store is for spices & other Indian grocery items the service is definitely out the window. Went in last fri. waited for aprox. 30min to find out that it would be about 30 mins for before they would even cut my meat. So left my order went to run some errands came back later to pick my meat. They had some of the ready but not all. had to wait some 20mins to get the complete order.
The Filet Mignon I should have got was not filet. after paying $ 26.+ for about 3lbs the owner refused to accept that I had got the wrong meat.
Since new ownership The service & quality of meat gone down. My family & friends have said the same.
NO MORE MEAT fro Indo Pak.

Did some shopping here today, had a lot of interesting foods from different parts of the world, they have quite a selection of breads, bought some roti and some nan… india’s version of the tortilla, very nice! A tortilla on steroids!

This was my first time to this location. The selection seemed average. However, I didn’t experience the friendliness others reviewed about. The cashier didn’t acknowledge my presence at all while I was checking out. It felt very awkward and unwelcoming. I’ll go out of my way to continue to shop at Teji’s.

I have been a very old customer. But lately the quality of meat has decline drastically. I never complained. But last week I bought minced beef after cooking the meat smelled aweful. Nevertheless I went back hoping to get some sort of customer service. I don’t have words the way they treated my complain. They infact started to behave that they just don’t care. I even showed them the meat I took with me to show them the enormous ratio of fat mixed.
I have never been treated like this. quality of meat and customer service rated poor.
They have lost me as a customer

This place is diagonal to Randalls (in the Dunkin Donuts shopping center)
This place is as good as it gets for me because (1) it’s very close to my house, (2) they carry the stuff I need, and (3) they help me figure out what certain things are when I am completely cluless and like a fish out of water. The people who work there are all super nice and helpful. I am actually going back today to get two masala (spice) mixes which reminded me to write this Unilocal review.
For those who like Indian foods (like butter chicken, for example), they sell mixes where you can make it at home, impress your friends and not have to actually go to a restaurant to get it!
They also have a butcher shop in the back and sell fresh meat but I haven’t tried any of that yet. I plan to very soon.

This place has great quality meat and have pretty much all of the essentials required for the indo pak cooking. The store is new and over 2 visits I have noticed more and more items.
Customer service is great, very kind and willing to assist.
