My garage spring snapped this morning. My car was locked in. I called another company to get it fixed, earliest available was a day. I called Shelby and he was out in under an hour. He was able to fix the problem in like 20 minutes. He also remounted my garage door rail at NO CHARGE. He explained every option and did some maintenance of the door. He did not try to upsell me, but explained that I had some things to keep an eye on. I am SO pleased at the service. I highly recommend this company! I can’t remember having a better experience with a maintenance company. Thanks Shelby!

John and Matt were both extremely friendly and easy to work with. We did not go with services due to our home coverage but we’re very happy with the quickness to help. Found them online. Called this afternoon and someone was here in about an hour.
My garage door would go down then go up. I depend on my remote to get in and out
of my garage and I needed some one I could trust. Matthew found the problem and in
no time it was done. I would recommend them and not hesitate to call them again if needed.

Shelby gave me a price over the phone that beat everyone else by $ 70. One labor charge no matter if it was 1, 2 or 3 springs. He showed up when he said he would and replaced 2 overhead springs. The price was what he quoted over the phone. We have 3 garage doors and he did not push us to replace the 3^rd one as this door is not used as often. Shelby gets the job done at a fair price with no surprises.
I had called another company come out because they had a $ 50 coupon. When the guy arrived he told me he was only going to charge one labor fee for 2 doors. This is what I was quoted over the phone as well as what a neighbor was charged. When I said I had a coupon he said the one labor fee was a better deal which is obvious. This really means the coupon has no value to the consumer just helps them advertise and gets customers to call them. I don’t like to do business this way, just give me a fair price and no misleading coupon.

A co-​worker recommended this company, advising they had done an excellent job installing his garage doors for a good price.
I called on a Friday afternoon and was told that someone could come by Saturday morning for our free quote. Lynn showed up and went over our existing doors. One had been hit by the previous owner, so I knew it needed to be replaced. The other one I figured we’d replace so the doors wouldn’t be mismatched. I was also having trouble with the door sensors.
Lynn immediately determined the door that had been hit needed to be replaced, not repaired (as I suspected) and recommended replacing the second door (as I figured we should). After my wife selected the color for the door, he said they might be in stock and, if they were, he could install them the same day!
6 hours later, I had two new doors and new sensors for the one that wasn’t working. Lynn and I did notice that one of the door panels had some delamination. He said he could be back on Monday to replace the bad panel.
It took Lynn and his wife less than 15 minutes to replace the panel.
Today (just under a month later), I was having trouble with the sensor, again, so I called back. I actually got the owner of the company and he said he could be there in about 30 minutes. After looking over the sensor, he determined it was a bad connection at the opener itself and he took care of the issue. No charge.

Experienced technical and NO hard sell. I told him what I wanted and he brought it over and installed it.
Bad panel was replaced within 48 hours with no argument.
Issue with the sensor was corrected almost as soon as I called and mentioned it.

One of the springs on my garage broke after many years of use. Richard came out to my house and replaced both springs within a couple of hours. After the repair I noticed a funny noise when the garage door opened. I called Richard and he came back out and fixed the noise. I’m a satisfied customer.

I found this company online through Google and let them know I had an industrial door that was jammed. I am a business owner and because this door was jammed, part of my building was shut down and I was losing income. Shelby came out and I told him I just wanted to fix the door if possible because I didn’t have budget for a new door. After looking at the door and figuring replacing it was the best option, we went over numbers. I was able to get a good deal because I went ahead and replaced a 2^nd door (out of the four I have) at the same time because thinking proactively, I didnt want part of my building shut down unexpectedly. Shelby sent out a crew on a Saturday to knock these out and get my entire shop back up and running again. I was afraid when he came out that I was going to get a commissioned salesman and a charge for giving an estimate.
–There was no pressure to buy
–I didn’t get a salesman, I got someone who is a problem solver (huge difference between the two)
–He delivered on time
–He installed on time
–He even let me postdate a check for the small remainder (I dont know if he does this for everyone, but one small business helping out another small business is the best ever!)
There was an issue with a contractor, and this is where the possible 5 star review turns into a solid 5 star for me. Long story short, we were missing a piece, Shelby took full responsibility, no studdering, no finger pointing, no making up excuses, was sincerely apologetic, and went above and beyond my expectations to fix it. (maybe my expectations are lower than most, or maybe his business motto is higher than most… I think the second one.) Any business can be great and have good service, but how a business reacts when something goes wrong or unexpected is the true way to see what their business really stands for. I will be doing business with these guys again here very soon to replace my last two doors on my building. If you need garage doors, give these guys your money. Seriously, their service can not be beat!

really helped me out this morning. Both of my garage doors abruptly stopped working and I knew it must be some minor thing that I just didn’t understand. Shelby very generously spent time on the phone talking me through the issue at no charge. He suggested some fixes until we found one that was the root of the issue (the GFCI outlet was tripped shutting off all power in the garage) and then stayed on speakerphone to tell me how to reset the emergency latch on one of my doors. It was so awesome to just call an expert and immediately get the info I needed, for free no less. Next time I have a garage door issue I am definitely calling him again.

Lightning fast and excellence service! It was very easy to schedule an appointment online. Mr. Shelby called me right back and came by my house to give an estimate since he’s already in my neighborhood. He gave us good recommendations, clearly explained the pros and cons between fixing and replacing the door. We decided to replace the door. The next day, his technician came by on time and finished the work in a timely fashion. The whole experience was so painless, unlike dealing with some other household repair and service businesses that we have dealt with. I would highly recommend Mr. Shelby and his business to everyone!
