History

Established in 2004.

SOL Sanctuary is owned and operated by La Tanya Young, RMA, MMSc, MPH, PA-​C. Ms. Young is an Emory University trained & Certified Physician Assistant, Assistant Professor and Holistic Health & Wellness Consultant. She founded SOL Sanctuary Holistic Detoxification Center in the midst of her own personal bout with dis-​ease and imbalance. «Through my own journey in healing and wellness, I discovered my purpose.» La Tanya attributes her personal healing to prayer/​meditation, faith and detoxification of her mind, body and spirit. «I want to share the gift of detoxification with everyone, so I decided to create a space (a sanctuary) for others to detox and to heal their mind-​body-​soul». Ms. Young holds multiple degrees in Biology, Public Health and Medical Sciences. Ms. Young is also an Advanced Level I-​ACT certified Colon Hydrotherapist, Instructor and Certified Health Education Specialist.
