Something is just off now. Mediocre stylists and things have just gone downhill. I used to love going in and looked forward to it. I’m looking for a new place now, unfortunately.

I Had my eyebrows waxed and left with burn marks above and below both of my eyebrows. So disappointed and was in extreme pain the whole time.
I’m surprised they’re using sub par wax. Their obviously not well equipped.

I don’t understand all of the negative reviews about Soda, as every experience I have had here since coming in with a Scoutmob deal a year ago has been amazing.
Courtney is EXCELLENT, and I highly recommend her if you want to go for a new cut or color. She is great at encouraging me to try things outside my comfort zone, and the outcome always surpasses my expectations. I’ve never received as many compliments on my hair since I’ve started going to Soda.
Go! You will not regret it.

I have been to Soda three times now. I went to see Ashley for color and cut a few months ago and that visit went pretty well. Last week I went back and told her I wanted to go a little bit lighter. She had asked me did I want more an «Ash Blonde» or «Golden Blonde»? I told her I preferred to go with a softer Ash Blonde. She had done all over color and some highlights, when she took the towel off my head, her exact words were «If you don’t like it we can fix it». My hair was orange. There was no other way to describe it. I told her I thought it was too brassy AND she also missed a chunk of hair right at my root and forehead and she agreed, she then put another toner on. By this time the salon was about to close and I had a really bad headache (not related to salon). My hair looked somewhat better I thought, but I figured let me go home and style it the way I prefer and see. I walked in the door and my step-​daughter asked why my hair was orange. I called the next day and explained I needed to come back in to see Ashley, the salon booked me for a color correction. I took off work so I could come in before my stylist left for NYC for fashion week the following day. I even apologized for coming in and said I just thought it was too harsh and orange. She agreed and said let’s try another toner and a few highlights. I looked in the mirror when she was done and figured it wasn’t what I wanted, but it looked more «Strawberry blonde». She said it looked much better. I got in my car and opened my sunroof so I could get a really good look… I wanted to cry. Now its my fault for not going back inside and pitching a fit, but at that point I was so MAD that not only did I take off half a day of work, had to go back twice, paid $ 150, but it was the fact that Ashley let me walk out looking the way I did… which was ORANGE. I decided to go elsewhere that a co-​worker recommended Salon Belleza. I explained everything that had happened and the stylist and the owner, both agreed my hair was a mess. After a full (and I mean FULL) head of highlights by Chandler my hair is blonde again. There is hints of reddish highlights which they told me would be there, but it looks blended and beautiful. They suggested I take before and after photos to send to the owner, so he can just make Ashley aware of how to not let a client walk out of the salon when you know you didn’t give your best job.

I found Soda Salon about 4 months ago through scoutmob, I’m new to the area so I thought I would give it a try and am so glad that I did! Courtney is my stylist and she took my damaged overprocessed blonde hair to new and beautiful heights. I trust her judgment implicitly and am always looking forward to my next appointment and ways to tweak my look! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s a little pricy but the experience and the service are worth the money :)

The only good thing about this place is décor.
There are a lot of places in alpharetta area offering much better services and charging only $ 35. This place is good for 20 – 25 bucks but anything more than that is a waste.
I went there 2^nd time coz I was told that I could use the scoutmob deal again. After I got the haircut, Mr. Gray told me that the person who told me that was wrong, and I would be required to pay $ 50. He quoted «that offer is for first times». Well, my bad that I didn’t check the coupon then and there. Nowhere it is mentioned on that coupon that it is for the first timers. Needless to say that I am never going back there again.
I am not sure why people do business with such a short term objectives in mind! Usually, I tip 20% but this guy pissed me off so much that I didn’t leave a dime. Seriously, just for $ 25 this guy lied on my face, and that face to me is Soda Salon now.

I spent about 30 minutes in front of the mirror this morning playing with and trying to make my hair look less like a mop.
Still ended up with a mop of hair that is neither wispy nor layered (which is what I asked for). The quality of the cuts is subpar as my bangs are poorly cut and uneven and the rest of my hair looks like someone went through with blunt scissors. I have to adjust and readjust my bangs every 10 minutes.
This is a good place if you’re a suburban mom who wants her classic cut but if you’re trying to be stylish — this is not the place for you.
Oh the kicker? The stylist spent the end of the haircut trying to convince me that my bangs looked silly because of the way she used the hairdryer/​product. I remain unconvinced.

Fabulous! Came here with 7 other ladies to get our hair and makeup done for a wedding. Every single hairstyle was unique and elegant, while the make-​up was subtle but really popped out the best features of every girl.
Amber did my hair and I was beyond impressed. I have long hair and whenever people curl it, I feel uncomfortable and not myself. I decided to give curls another try, so after she styled and curled it (as she called it, Shakira curls) I felt like a sexy goddess all day and night! Amber is great if you are hesitant about a hair style because she makes you comfortable and is open to giving and taking any suggestions.
Try out this salon for your bridal or prom hair! You won’t be disappointed.

Like the location, like the décor, like the people that work there… just don’t like the cuts. Have been three times now (two different stylists) because I really WANT to like this place, but the cuts are just subpar. I have long hair with layers, I should get a good haircut everywhere I go, but this hasn’t been the case at Soda. On the other hand, I took my 12 year old stepdaughter there and she got a great cut for about $ 30. So I guess, one of us will remain a customer.

I called today for an appointment. Apparently they don’t need any business. According to the sassy receptionist, the owners are in Puerto Rico until next week and they do not take new clients. This is Atlanta, there are plenty of awesome hair stylists. Thanks… but no thanks.

Great salon in downtown Roswell. I have been gonig to LB for about four years and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. LB knows what she is doing and always makes me look amazing!

I have been to this hair salon back in ²⁰⁰⁸⁄₂₀₀₉. I loved my experience here. The service is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and personable. They provided me with quick and promt service. The stylist that I had here asked me exactly how I wanted my hair to look and I did not have a particular exact style in mind. So, she suggested one for me and showed it to me and I loved it a lot.
Also, she was very friendly and I knew and could tell that she took care of all her clientele very well. Right after she cut my hair, she washed it and rinsed it to make sure that she got rid of all and any loose hair clippings. Then she styled it to perfection and I could have not been happier and more thrilled that day. They are not as affordable like Great Clips, but it is well worth it though.
Paying a fairly high price for an excellent quality hair style and hair cut, is well worth paying a high price. Overall, I would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone that resides in Roswell, is in the Roswell area, near the Roswell area, or visiting the Roswell area to go to this hair salon. This is by far my favorite hair salon in all of Roswell 30 075. I do hope to go back here again one day.

I probably had the worse salon experience of my life with this place. I use to love coming here when I had my regular hair stylist, but after she left to purse other things, I made an appointment with a stylist they suggested. I came in very very optimistic as I had a good track record with this place, but wow was I disappointed.
I have dark hair and I wanted an Ombré look to change it up a little bit. I provided my stylist a few very specific picture of what I wanted my hair to look like, and she seemed really confident in what we were going to do. OMG, I don’t think Ive walked out of any salon with a worse hair style. I literally had ORANGE hair and a haircut that was so abysmal people were asking me «is it suppose to be like that?» The hairstylist even knew she messed up as she said «we“ll fix it on your next appointment!» I wanted to die! So lo and behold and came back to get it fixed, with a different stylist hoping to get better results. Boy was I wrong, I now have blonde HIGHLIGHTS on my hair! That is the exact opposite of what an ombré should be! It looks horrible and at this point I was losing hope I would get what I wanted. I called the salon owner and told him my experience and I got the impression that he was offering to fix my hair with a higher level stylist, but to my surprise, after my consultation, she offered me a quote. She said the owner wont pay for my hair because I went over their 30 day period. I never cried over hair, but I did. I can’t afford another $ 200 to let them fix my hair when they messed it up the first place!
I guess I’m stuck with this horrible hair.
Bottom line, I would never ever go to this place. And if all you need in a run of the mill suburban/​soccer mom hair style, this is the place for you. But if you want something a little more edgy and current, your better off finding a different salon.

I went here after reading a few good reviews on it and noting that it isn’t too far of a drive from home. (Note: It is not hard to find at all. On a major corner in historic Roswell. Right by the Mill parking. Super easy… jsut sayin.)
This is the second time I have gone to have Chris cut my hair. She did an amazing job both times. She is friendly and excellent at what she does. Not to mention the price points here are very reasonable.
The salon is beautifully decorated and also displays amazing local art (some of which is by Chris the stylist) that is for sale and also goes to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Every person I have interacted with here has been friendly, polite, and demonstrates excellent customer service.
I love Soda! And Chris does great things with my hair! I highly recommend giving this great salon a shot.

Chris at Soda is the BEST!
I’ve never been very adventurous with my hair style. I’d been going to the same stylist for 10 years and finally decided I needed a change when my 60 year old male boss commented that I always wore my hair the same way. I was blown away by Chris. She has a very trendy eye for hair. She isn’t just skilled, she also is great at recommending new looks for your personal style. I feel like a new person after going to see her. I even bought a hair dryer. I highly recommend this salon and moreso, Chris.
Additionally, the salon itself is so cute. It has a great feel — small touches like nice art adorn the walls. They also attend to your every need. You get a nice scalp massage during the wash and they are more than happy to bring you an adult beverage while you wait. I love this place.

After having my hair cut by the same person for 14 years, I was very careful in picking the right salon. I went to Bailey at Soda after many reccomendations and she blew my mind. She was very professional. She sat me down and listened to what I wanted and explained every detail of the cut. She gave me tips on styling my hair as well. She explained that the cut I would get might be more basic than what I may have been used to but that she wanted to get to know my hair before she started putting a lot of cuts in it, which I absolutely appreciated. If you go to Soda, see Bailey!

This salon has won numerour awards for a reason! They only have the best of the best in thier salon. I was in dire need of a haircut and was told about this salaon I booked an appt with Bailey and I must say not only did she give me a fabulous cut but she also talked to me the whole time and gave recomendations as to how to make my hair look flawless.
I will be going back in 6 – 8 weeks when I need anther cut she was absolutely the kindest stylest ever and knew her way around with a pair of scissors. What I liked most however was that she was telling me what she was doing and we even created a game plan for my hair. She walked me through how to style my hair and gave me lots of tips and pointers that were easy to follow.
I will be recommending this place to anyone I know that needs to get their hair done in the future.

How do you spell nightmare?
Here’s my neutral, no frills run down of my experience at Soda Salon on Atlanta Rd.
1) Got blonde highlights touched up and a hair cut. Good job, no big problem. Harsh lines at the temples. Cut complimented my curls.
2) Second trip, decided to go brown. Semi-​permanent color applied to hair. Looked good. No problem.
3) Third trip, decided I wanted the blonde back. Long discussion about expectations, photos of my old blonde shown. Told, «no problem, probably take two go’s at it to get it back to blonde». Great. Bleach applied. Hair is slightly green-​ish brown. Not happy, but figured «I can come back soon and it’ll be fine.» Asked how soon I could come back, told «Wait at least a week.»
4) A week and a half later I’m back in the salon. Show the hairstylist (same person, has been each visit) pictures of the blonde I used to be. Told «I know what you want.» Color is mixed, foils are applied, 15 minutes later, foils are pulled out.
Hair is streaked with bright orange. As I’m being twirled around to get a view of the back I notice an orange streak down the back of my head. I say «hey, what’s that?» as she tousles the hair about to hide the streak. I finger comb through my hair, find more bright orange patches. She offers to redo those patches. I accept.
Leave the salon, cry all the way home. Hair is very damaged (I also paid $ 30 for a hair treatment to combat the damage), orange, frizzy. Big problem.
After several hours of tears my boyfriend calls Soda Salon because I’m too much of a sissy and complains. I refuse to have another appointment within 6 weeks due to the damage. About a month later I go in for a «consultation» to discuss what happened, let them take pictures, and talked to Bailey.
I was told that foils can be taken out at any time, it depends on the stylist. That my hair was more of a «honey wheat» than a color like the star rating I gave them, that it could take 7 – 9 visits to the salon to get all the orange out and have my hair back to its normal blonde, and that trying to tell a stylist what I want in «their lingo» only confuses them and makes them mess up. Lastly, they advised against adding in low lights to soften up the hard yellow/​orange streaks because it was just going backwards.
**Ok, neutrality is over**
In case you’re wondering, the person who styled my hair each time was Sara. She doesn’t actually have a license to do hair, she learned hands on from someone else. How do I know this? I asked on my first visit because I was interested in becoming a hair stylist and wanted to know what options there were.
I then went to another stylist at a different salon (review coming after my second trip) and the face she made while doing my hair… it was obvious that someone who didn’t know what they were doing smeared cheetohs in random places all over my hair.
The color was mismatched on both sides. On one side it went all the way to my ear, on the other it stopped about 2 inches before my ear.
And also, I’ve done this before. I’ve gone from blonde to brown and back to blonde again and it didn’t take more than one/​two trips to achieve the color I wanted.
Lastly, foils need to stay in until the color lifts to where you want it. I did not and do not believe 15 minutes was enough time and that it was the reason my hair was bright orange instead of blonde.
I said this to Bailey and she said I was wrong, foils stay in until the stylist decides to take them out. We’re all just canvasses and it’s better not to tell the artist how to do their job.
Bailey will lie to you (either that or she doesn’t know what she’s talking about and is a terrible educator). Sara will butcher your color. She’s fine at hair cuts, but don’t get complicated on her.
If you stay away from these two I hope you leave your visit with the hair you wanted and have a much better experience than the nightmare I had.
Was it worth the $ 300 I spent on two trips? Absolutely not and I want my money back. Do I think I’ll get it? No way. They wanted to charge me $ 230 to «start» fixing it. «Could take 7 – 9 more trips (which equates to 10 months to a year).»

I’ve been to Soda twice now, and I can definitely say that I have found my salon. I got lucky and was placed with Morgan on my first visit, and wow, I’m so glad I did b/​c she’s extremely talented and also very down to earth! I had a pic of the highlights I wanted. She really listened and succeeded in making me walk out of the salon looking exactly the way I imagined I would.
I highly suggest asking for Morgan when you make an appointment at Soda. She really cares about making you and only you happy.

I just have to give another shout out to Soda Salon. I had my second haircut with LB (lauren bourne, highly highly recommend her!) and the 2^nd hair cut was just as fabulous as the first. It is quite a challenge to give an interesting shoulder length haircut to someone who is growing their hair. LB delivers again with a fabulous haircut, you can tell she puts in a lot of TLC and precision to her work and she’s really easy to talk to. I’m tempted to splurge in the $ 30 Kerastase hair products they use because my hair feels so luxuriously silky. I definitely recommend Soda Salon and try LB!
