I want to say that this bakery rocks! Not only is their cake delicious but it’s safe for my son who has a peanut allergy! It’s nearly impossible to find a safe bakery at a fair price(that’s also delicious)! To top it off, I mentioned on the phone that we were having a little einsteins party for my son who was turning three. I told them I’m sure they couldn’t make a cake for that occasion so to just use primary colors. When I came to pick it up I was overjoyed… They had taken the little einsteins rocket and put it on the cake! It was beautiful! Needless to say my son was thrilled too! They have a permanent customer in me! Thank u Rhodes!

Came into this family owned bakery looking for some sweets. The petit fores were very moist and delicous and the sugar cookie was sweet well made. Everyone else said theyre cheese straws were good and ill take theyre word for it. Theyre cakes looked good and the price wasnt that bad. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

After driving by this place a few times, I decided to try it… ugh. The petit fours were doable, but the basic yellow cupcake with white icing was dry. I’m not sure how long it was in there. You’re better off going to a grocery store for a cake, or anything else you would think of getting from there.

Very poor customer service. Dismissive and rude owner. Went in for an advertised cake tasting to be told they were not offering it.

I started going to Rhodes Bakery when I found out that their food is safe for a family member with a tree nut and peanut allergy. I had issues finding a quality bakery that is nut free. Since we started using Rhodes, all our cakes have been from Rhodes. This allows us to ensure that our family and guests can eat, and the cakes taste great.

Great cake, great price, great customer service! I couldn’t be more pleased. I went to another local bakery that was closer to home to order a custom cake for my son’s 3rd birthday and was quoted a ridiculous price of $ 895. Yes. eight HUNDRED ninety five dollars. Plus tax. Now, I know the other place has great cake. I have had many a cake from there as it is just up the street from me, but come on $ 895??? This is for a 3 year old. I had never been to Rhodes before, and decided to give them a try. For a custom made, very specific, 5 piece, 3 dimensional cake I was charged just over $ 100 compared to the almost $ 900 at the other bakery(for the EXACT same cake). I found the price to be more than reasonable and was certain that I had not been charged enough. When I ordered, called to confirm, and picked up the cake the staff was very friendly and helpful. The cake was AMAZING!!! It could not have turned out more beautiful(I was very specific and I am very picky) and it tasted just as good as it looked even though we didn’t serve it until the next day. I will use Rhodes bakery for all of my cake needs and highly recommend them with pride to all of my family and friends. Thank you Rhodes Bakery… you made a little boy happy beyond belief with his train birthday cake and have gained a customer for life.

Their cheese straws and petit fours are very good. Unfortunately, i recently ordered a cake for an engagement party, and it was terrible. I wanted something more dense than the traditional yellow cake so the lady told me the pound cake was better. I asked if she could layer it with a filling, and she said it was no problem. The actual cake was not layered and incredibly dry. None of my guests finished their piece, some of them only taking a bite. As for the decoration of the cake, I told them the colors were brown and light blue. The actual cake was electric blue, so not matching the rest of the party decorations. I also requested a guitar and teapot(personal joke for the couple) and everything was drawn in shades of brown and electric blue! I thought it was odd that they didn’t ask if i wanted to use black/white or any other colors. Granted, I did tell her to use her best judgement, which was my mistake — I should have been very specific. But given the cakes in their catalog of past cakes, it seemed to be a good choice at the time. All this being said, it was not an attractive cake. I will not order a cake from them again, but I would order the petit fours.

I have been enjoying birthday cake from Rhodes for over 40 years! No one beats the chocolate icing on a yellow cake. Awesome.

Where can you find the best cheese straws, caramel cake, bite sized cake and petite fours in Atlanta? This stuff is few and far between, but its available at Rhodes Bakery. With two Atlanta locations, my introduction to the delectable delights came about in 2004 during an office birthday party. For the past few years, office birthday after office birthday, all the cakes were from Rhodes Bakery. Fortunately I had access to all of the yummy slices from an array of cakes; however I wasn’t truly satisfied until I went to the actual bakery. Rhodes Bakery is family owned and operated and the staff and owners are super hospitable and friendly. Cakes and other Every time I go to I fall victim to the spicy homemade cheese sticks. We used to crowd around and eat them at the office. They’re much better than any cheese cracker I’ve ever tasted.
