This place is gross. Only had takeout, but it’s dirty inside and my turkey burger was completely raw on the inside. Disgusting.

I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and head back to work, so I decided to stop by at Mazzy’s, since my meeting was right in that strip mall. I sit at the bar and order the MOAB(Mother of all Burgers) Ambre who was my waitress was very pleasant and very nice to talk to. Although the burger took a good 20 mins to arrive, I must say it did not disappoint at all. My first bite and it felt like a home cooked burger just like my mom would make. Very tender and moist just like the menu said. Overall a great place to hang out with friends and have a good time.

I love it here!!! The food is great! Highly recommend the wings. They also have these fried jalapeño bite things that are really good. The drinks are super cheap, Coors Light Draft was only about $ 3 and they allow smoking.

Great sports bar. As a smoker(yeah I know all you haters) I love that I don’t have to feel like I have the plague in order to smoke. Bartenders are great! Atmosphere is great also. I highly recommend this bar

I’m a 53 year old guy who likes to sit down, nurse his beer, and joke around with a friendly crowd. Having said that, this place is GREAT. Nothing trendy, nothing fake, just a solid neighborhood sports bar with lots of TV screens, pool, and darts. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, and the music is at an appropriate background level. If I didn’t live on the other side of town, this place could easily become my «Cheers». I’m gonna make it a point to drop in here whenever I finish a job in Roswell.

The place is very smokey. The staff is a bunch of high schoolers who take forever and the food is nothing to brag about. You should show up drunk already or not at all.

OK first off I do not play with my food especially when I’m paying. First off we came in and it took the waitress 15 to actually come over to realize me and my husband was there. The food comes out… I didn’t wanna eat it .not that it didn’t look edible but I changed my mind because I just didn’t want it If someone comes and decide to spend money at your establishment … customer service is key. If I didn’t want to eat it do you think I’m going to take it home for later ??? NO. I don’t want it period. Don’t ask me if I wanna take it home to eat it later. Bring me something else. point blank. And another thing. The African American presence her is very slim so I could take that in account again. Don’t play with my emotions… just get me something else and keep it moving. … won’t come here anymore … don’t care how good the food is. You will respect me and my hard earned money..

This place is a dump. The smoke was so heavy in the room I could hardly breath. It was VERY hot and the music wa just straight out of hell and way too loud. The clients there were more along the rough and rowdy side. The staff was virtually non-existent. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I thought we were walking into a dive sports bar, with a Salvation Army store on one side and a vacant store site on the other, but it’s a big true American Sports Bar on the inside. Good bar with great selections on draft and they had my Makers. Food was decent and easy pricing on all on the menu. Good TV coverage from most anywhere and got to watch round one of the NIT and the NCAA while out of town! I haven’t been in a bar that allowed smoking in a while and forgot what that was like. Didn’t get busy until 8:30−9pm.

This is a great sports bar. Doesn’t look like much from the street but actually pretty big inside. They have pool tables, darts, large screens for the games, food is pretty good and think they do poker on certain nights of the week as well. Only downfall is its a smokers bar so would wear your best as your clothes will need to head straight to the washing machine when you get home.

A big old Sports grill. Smoking. There are a few sections to hang out in, but it’s basically one huge rectangle. A good place to wnjoy a game of poo, darts, or just hang out. The food is OK. The service is ok — the servers may be busy wandering about this huge room. Good place to go for — pool league, dart league, poker(if they still have it).

Why didn’t anyone tell me they have good food with great prices? I’ve been avoiding this place solely for the reputation of bad bar food. I visited this place early on a Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised! The hubster and I visited this place with another couple for a quick bite and a drink. We sat ourselves at a high top surrounding the bar with views of the Braves games(of course!). Our server greeted up promptly and got our drink orders. We ordered the bacon-wrapped jalapenos appetizer to start off with. I ordered the shrimp pasta cajun style and he ordered the double burger with a fried egg. The bacon-wrapped jalapenos weren’t what I was expecting. When I order this dish at other places it usually involves small jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and deep fried. This was served with a whole jalapenos injected with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and fried. The jalapenos wasn’t pickled either. It was fresh and had serious heat. So much heat that I gave up and basically just ate bacon-wrapped cream cheese. My shrimp pasta was great! I ordered it with Cajun seasoning and it definitely added some heat. Served with about half a dozen shrimp, the pasta was much better than expected. The pasta was cooked perfectly and had a great pasta to sauce ratio. And it was served with two slices of toasted French bread. It was so good that I ended up eating it all in one sitting. My husband’s burger was great as well. Instead of a fried egg though they broiled it. Still had great flavor, however. Beef, bacon, cheese and an egg. You can’t go wrong with that. He had textbook fries that went well with the burger. Overall, a really good meal. Our server kept bringing us more water and kept our drinks refilled. Whenever our beers got low, she made sure it was topped off. When the bill came, we were more than pleased with the price! Had we known this place has quality food without breaking the bank, we would have come a lot sooner. I’ll be back to try the pot roast!

Most of this city is asleep at midnight on a weekday, but not Mazzy’s! Come down with your friends and play pool, darts and sometimes the poker games are going. Or just bring your special someone and grab a table or sit at the granite top bar to talk while the attractive servers are busy keeping your glasses filled.

Lights out F-U-N. Great(HOT) flight attendants. Good music. When sports are playing, pick one of 30 TVs to watch anything. All flat screens or great resolution LCDs. Food is phenomenal.

This place is awesome. Smoking is allowed inside but it isn’t smokey at all which I really like! They were out of my beer but a manager came to let me know and apologize which was both awesome & unnecessary! But appreciated. Our server Tosh was very sweet and checked on us continually throughout our rounds of pool. I was told they redid the place recently and it’s very clean and pleasant. They maintain the bathrooms well and the space is pretty large. There are about 10 pool tables and you play for free which is great. I love that the tables are real full sized pool tables and not the run-of-the-mill coin operated tables. I didn’t try any food expect fries but I plan to return and check it out. The fries were hot and tasty, so no complains here. All in all very positive experience! Great spot :) check it out!

I enjoy a good sports bar to hang out with friends, grab a drink and watch a game if I am so inclined(preferably hockey or baseball). The best part about a sports bar is I can hang out with said friends while they watch the game and I can ignore the game if so inclined(pro football). Mazzy’s was a port in the storm(tornados and rain) the other day — so sports had little to do with it. It was a good place to just hang out and chat with friends. Here is the problem, even at 2 in the afternoon it was dark and smoky. Too smoky. And my friends who were smoking, went 5 tables away to smoke so as not to disturb the rest of us. The waitress was great and kept our beers/pitchers/glasses filled, and she was super friendly. She apologized when her shift was over and she had to cash us out, even. But odds are, if it was this hard to breath on a random Tuesday, imagine a Monday Night Football game when the place is in full swing. I think I’ll keep going to the other guys.

Mazzy’s is a throwback to dive bars of the 80s. Extremely large bar area with plenty of televisions, pool tables as far as the eye can see down the left side of the bar, and darts in the back. Smoking is allowed inside and it’s the latest opening establishment in the Roswell area as far as alcohol is concerned. A lot of the service staff from restaurants come here to drink after work. It’s a dive bar. They serve typical bar food and cheap alcohol. Plenty of tv’s for watching the game and a dedicated set of regulars. It’s what bars used to be before they became glamorized dating clubs and where you went to see and be seen. It’s a bar, a real old fashioned bar where they know how to make hard shots and serve pitchers of beer. You’ll reek of smoke when you leave and wont break the bank. It’s a bar.

Mazzy’s is one of those places that has been around a while, which is good– because I know something must be going on right! Right in the middle of an aging shopping center near Hwy 9 and Mansell, this place is great to go to after work(for me, thats around 1030−11AM). I just don’t do it like I used to. You walk in and its a huge square– the left side is all pool tables, the front part is the bar and dining area, and the back has a few more tables, restrooms, and DARTS!!! Why get so excited about darts? Where else have you seen 8 dart boards in an establishment(I am sure they exsist, let me know where!) — and even has a league for them! There are lots of tv’s, plenty of bar space, and note there is smoking– but it is a high ceiling so it’s not as stuffy as say, The Clermont Lounge. They have a full bar menu, and the drinks are pretty decent priced(cheaper to TMac, a place I usually drink to up my alcoholism status). You would have to out lush my buddies if you wanted to rack a $ 100 tab– or just buy rounds for the bar. The crowd seems to be fairly mixed too, depending on the time of day(during lunch, it’s usually businessmen, but a mix into the evening) I like the bartenders because they are friendly and if you give them a drink recipe– they are willing to try to make it– one thing I have had mixed success at other places. If you want a local watering hole in Roswell, check it out.
