We have been going to K9 Planet for years now for doggie daycare and boarding, and they have been great! Our mini dachshund stays on the small dog side and is always super excited (wagging his tail /​dragging me in) when we arrive. They have a large indoor and outdoor small dog area, which is nice to allow the dogs to have some space when they want it! 5 stars!

My dogs love K9 planet! It is a clean safe environment for them to play and I feel totally secure leaving them here. The staff and the owner Ashley are quick to respond to any question or concern I might have. We have been coming here for years and will continue to do so! Even my vet loves this place!

Do you not trust their website or the employees working there I have two dogs one of them is very friendly and the other one can be dog aggressive online it states that they except both aggressive and non-​aggressive dogs I even called to verify it scheduled an appointment to do a site visit with them however upon arrival I was informed that they do not except dog aggressive dogs it was a hassle to me. The gentleman who helped me may have been polite but was unwilling to work with me considering that the information given to me by both the website and one of their employees was incorrect that’s not my fault it’s there’s. I am eager to hear what the owner has to say if you need to update your website then you need to get off your lazy butt and do it and stop inconveniencing people like me.

Absolutely love taking my dog Boss here! He loves running around with the other dogs and the staff is always so great. He’s does daycare a lot and sometimes boards; he’s never came home sick or injured and don’t think he ever will. We love k9 planet

I bring my dog here all the time. She’s been playing and boarding here for 3 years. It hasn’t always been completely perfect, BUT Ashley has always responded to my concerns immediately.
The turnover rate is not the best, but there are people still there from 3 years ago and that says something.
Every time I drop off my dog, she us greeted with hugs and love and a treat.
It’s a little pricey to board, but they aren’t left in a crate all day. They are let out and get to play until closing time. They also have a nanny camera so you can see your dog at anytime.

Wonderful place! We have been leaving our dog there for play time and boarding for several years and have never had any problems. Our dog comes home happy and exhausted. The staff all seem to love the dogs and our dog loves them back. We have used other boarding places in the past and not been half as satisfied as we are with K9 Planet. Give them a chance and you’ll be back!

Do NOT bring your dog here!
1. Our dog got Very sick and upon bringing her to the vet they said she got a parasite from drinking still water! So mad! They legally were suppose to tell other dog owners but never did. We stopped bringing her and not even ONE person called to see if she was okay. Or called to see why she never came back and she was there every day! We did our part to call them and say what she had. They said «well, when she feels better bring her back.» Smfh
2. My small dog was put with the big dogs w/​o my permission! After telling them she was attacked by a big dog in the park and I didn’t want her near them.
3. She always came home wet bc they squirt the dogs with water.
4. The staff is nice but they don’t know to much about dogs. Basically a bunch of students passing by time.

On August 2, 2013, Cooper, my sweet tiny pup and companion was killed at #K9Planet in Roswell, GA. Autopsy results cite the cause of death as: Traumatic injury to the head with fractured skull and hemorrhaging and subsequent respiratory and cardiac arrest. Despite assurances by the daycare owner that Cooper, only two years old and just 4.9 lbs., would be SAFE and SUPERVISED in the «SMALL DOG» area and NEVER placed with dogs over 15 lbs., this was not the case. Video near the time of Cooper’s death shows several dogs in the 40 – 50 lbs. range, and many dogs weighing 20 – 30 lbs. in the «SMALL DOG» area without employee supervision.
To date, the owner has not admitted negligence nor promised to change her procedures.
If you value your pet please consider my experience when you select a day care or boarding provider.

Surprised there are only two reviews. I love thais place for my pet. She is only 4 months of age and soo energetic. I decided on K9 planet NOT because of the price but, because my pup has the opportunity to play all day with other animals. This is a great way to socialize a puppy. I can tell she is happy as I watch her run from one corner of the room to the other on their web cam.
The staff is very friendly and already knew My pup by name on day 2. Despite the daily rate for day care, it’s very worth it and I’m very pleased with K9 Planet.

This place is great. They are professional and easy to work with, and they take excellent care of the dogs — I like that I can check in on their webcams throughout the day.
They have indoor and outdoor areas for the dogs to play in, as well as kiddie pools and a sprinkler on hot days. Along the edge of the indoor play areas are some beds, so they can get comfy and nap as needed. Both indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as the kennels, are clean and well maintained. When you walk in the door, there is no «doggie smell.»
Their prices seem a bit high, but you get a lot of value for what you pay, so I think it is totally worth it.
Their grooming is impeccable.
My dog is excited every time he arrives.

My dog loves going to K-​9 planet! ! It is clean, freshly painted, and the staff is unfailingly professional. Whether for grooming, boarding, or their very cool dog bakery — K-​9 Planet is unbeatable!
