Enlightened Electrolysis

This review is not for Sherri, but for Chrissy who was filling in for her.
Chrissy was perfectly nice and professional. However, after receiving electrolysis on my chin, I had large red scabs on the area that lasted for about 4 days. I understand that scabs are sometimes a normal side effect of electrolysis, but what really gets me is that the scabs were around hairs that weren’t even removed! Unacceptable. It is clear that her technique is poor and she was not inserting the needle correctly. I showed photos of my face to other experienced electrologists who were appalled and said it was clear the error was in the technique. I chose to come here based on positive reviews for Sherri. I was very disappointed and will not be coming back here again.

I have been under the care of 3 dermatologists for 6 years with ZERO resolution to my unwanted (hormonal) skin bumps. I have had one visit with Sherri @ EE and have had IMMEDIATE improvement. I am livid with the physicians that milked & exploited me for thousands of dollars for 6 years. Sherri, however, is the best. I highly recommend her.
(Physicians just love collecting the cash regardless of your treatment results which infuriates & disgusts me.)

I’ve been going to treat an area of unwanted facial hair… okay we all all friends here so I’ll just spill a secret. It’s that dag gum pesty chin hair…
I went in very afraid and decently skeptical of this whole process. My friend gave me a groupon for Christmas so I felt like I had to give it a try, nothing to loose. I was still very worried about the process especially after reading general posts online. So, I called with my defenses up and my list of questions. Sherry was incredibly calming and explained how it works and why it works. So I set the appointment.
On the day of my first treatment I went in eyes wide open expecting an unpleasant experience. Sherry greeted me with a warm smile and began my consultation. Within minuets I was lead into the room to begin the process. I laid on the table and tried to relax, which was impossible with the fear telling me I was about to be shocked, in bad ways. Sherry began by explaining exactly what she was doing with each step. That gave me something else to think about and was soothing. It was so comforting to hear how knowledgeable and experienced she is.
Then the fun began. I clinched expecting pain and was so relieved when I felt none! It only took 30 mins for my first treatment. There were a couple of times that I felt the zap but it was not a big deal. Equivalent to tweezing. On my second treatment it was slightly more painful but certainly barable. Sherry noticed before I did and adjusted the machine, she knows skin!
Today I go for my third treatment. It’s been almost 3 weeks since I last went and the hair growth is almost non existent. I’m very pleased.
One other thing I must mention is how fair and honest Sherry is. My groupon was for two 30 min sessions. My second session was only for 15 mins, and she noted on file that I still have a 15 min credit. She did that in her own without me saying a word. Being fair is rare and so appreciated.
