7 Star II sold to a trio of guys who re-named the place ‘3 Asian Take Out’ and on Facebook ‘King St. Sandwiches’… They offered some really outstanding HUGE sandwiches in addition to an abbreviated Chinese menu… Unfortunately, I believe they did not make it, as the OPEN sign and phone seem to have been permanently unplugged…

This place used to be very good but has gone downhill. :(Awful food Most of the time over-cooked or over-seasoned. They no longer accept Amex. So disappointed now.

We used to order from here all the time but they have changed cooks and the food is not as good as it was before. We have tried it three times since the change and each time our food was disappointing. It is not consistent anymore either; one time the fried rice was very very bland and another time the orange chicken was so over seasoned we couldn’t eat it. It is sad cause this used to be our favorite place.

We live across the street and love this place! They have huge portions and fresh meat and veggies. They also offer the nicest service around. The egg rolls are pretty greasy– but what can we expect from fast food chinese? Perfect when you get the craving. Try this place!

Dont judge a book by its cover! The place is small but the food is fantastic! They are ALWAYS quick and helpful, especially with the delivery! One time they were out of something we wanted and they surprised us and threw in a free dessert and a sweet note in our take out order! We have tried several thiings here crab rangoon, general tsa, brocolli and chicken, everything is great and fresh!

This has changed owners a lot the past few years. We just tried it last week for the first time in over 6 months and it was very good. I was surprised. We got pepper steak and broccoli chicken. Both were very good. It’s the best Chinese food delivery place Ive had. The staff is very nice as well.

This Chinese resturaunt is the worse. My company has attempted to order form them twice. The first time the delivery driver never showed up nor called and after 2 hours we called and asked what was going on. they then informed us that the driver was lost, but we never received a call or and information as to where our delivery was. Now we just placed another order with them gioving them the benefit of a doubt and they were lost again for 2 hours and had not called us back or anything. When we called tehm the guy whom answered the phone the driver was lost again! We then asked where she was and tehy told us to meet her at Wendys. My co-worker drove to Wendys to meet her and exscorted her back, when we opened our food it was not complete. I had egg fu yong with no sauce nor fried rice as I had ordered, and our food was extremely cold. When I called back and complained and asked where the sauce and the fried rice was he claimed he had put it in the plate. I told him no it is missing. He insisted it was tehre, so i told him to come look for himself. Then he stated he would call us back! Very bad busniess the worse in town and we will never order from them again, and this will be posted all over there site and facebook.

We’ve tried a few different Chinese take out places around the Dunwoody/Roswell area and so far this is the best. I’m addicted to the Singapore Chow Mei Fun noodles(I call them«Happy Noodles»). Great spice and curry, and lots of shrimp, chicken, pork and tofu. We’ve also tried the General Tsao’s chicken, not too bad, a little sweet for me but my husband loves it. We always get delivery, so that may have something to do with it(it’s usually not crispy by the time they get to us). We have never eaten in the restaurant, so that could be a different experience. We recently tried the Moo Shu Pork and, although a tad salty, it’s really good. Great crisp to the onions and the spice is perfect! Will have again. One last note: They have excellent steamed dumplings, but beware, they are doughier than what you might be used to. That’s because they are hand-made, more traditional style, so the dough is a little heavier. I agree with another reviewer regarding the greasiness of the egg rolls, but we don’t order them very often, so not a concern here.

I have no idea why the other reviews gave 7-Star only three stars, because in my opinion, you get what you pay for, and for what you pay for, you get a lot at 7-Star! I’ve been ordering for about 2 months now, and I love the food. At first, I ordered some chicken fried rice, then I ordered their shrimp fired rice, the order was huge and mouth watering! I couldn’t finish it either time. I’m always reluctant to order lunch«combo deals» since the lists are so overwhelming and it doesn’t seem to be a good deal, but when I looked over the prices, I was shocked. LARGE entrée, fried/steamed rice, soup, chips, spring roll, all for $ 5. So far I’ve tried the following: kung pao chicken, orange chicken, sesame chicken, and shrimp with broccoli. Everything has been delectable, but my favorite is kung pao chicken(without peanuts). There is a rule of thumb in fast food which generally only allows you to pick two out of the following: [a] fast [b] cheap [c] good. At 7-Star, you get all three!

Honestly, we were a bit hesitant about this place at first because we couldn’t find any reviews on it. Also, the prices were lower than most chinese take-outs, which made me think that maybe it was low quality, too. We ordered the sesame, sweet and sour, and general tso chicken and it was all excellent. I also got the crab rangoons and the egg drop soup. Delicious! The only complaint that I may have, though, is that the spring and egg rolls are a bit too greasy for me, but that definitely won’t stop me from ordering from here again. Finally, we found a place that doesn’t taste like old grease! Ok, update… I hate doing these. :( The first few times I ate here, the food was pretty good. I ate during lunch hours, so I don’t know if that makes a huge difference(different cooks, perhaps?) I have since eaten a few times for dinner, and the food isn’t that good. The fried rice was just… yuck. I got sweet and sour batter, although I had ordered sweet and sour shrimp. I can’t remember what everyone ordered, but we all agreed that this place has gone downhill a bit. On the flipside, the soup is still pretty good. So are the crab rangoons. I’ll try lunch again, but I have a feeling that I will need to start looking around again to feed my cheap Chinese food take out addiction.

It’s still better than most delivery Chinese food I’ve had. I think 7 star is getting hit with the bad economy, or at least I hope that’s the reasoning. The last time we ordered from here, the soups were full of cornstarch. The flavor not the best. My usual, hot and sour, wasn’t very hot at all, and honestly, kind of tasted like a barn. Not what I’m used to from here. Our entrees were also a little lacking in well… something. Just lacking, I guess. As a whole, everything felt very diluted and just«ok.» The combo items have dropped in price, but I was really hoping it wouldn’t drop in quality, too. How unfortunate.
