Using the time-tested proprietary Mathnasium Method™ and curriculum that has helped thousands of students in more than 250 Mathnasium centers nationwide, we are committed to helping your child catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math. Our team of highly skilled instructors is passionate about math and helping kids and has been rigorously trained to teach the Mathnasium way.

All Mathnasium of Roslyn students receive one-on-one instruction and a customized learning plan based on the unique needs and goals of each child. We focus on filling in the gaps in your child’s mathematical foundations while providing him or her with the help, guidance, and encouragement necessary to tackle what’s being taught in school. The results are measurable progress, a renewed sense of confidence, and a positive attitude toward math and learning.

History

Established in 2011.

More than thirty-five years ago, Larry Martinek was inspired to find a better way to teach children math. As a teacher-trainer and consultant in public and top private schools, and father to a mathematically gifted son, Larry possessed an incredibly comprehensive view of education. In his work with both stellar and struggling math programs, he clearly identified a common theme in mathematics instruction: a «serious disconnect between students’ basic skills training and the curriculum they are expected to master in the years to come.»

The hallmark of the Mathnasium program has been the way it engages kids and gets them to know math at a level far beyond adult expectations. Today, over 35 years after its inception, the Mathnasium Method™ is providing children all over the world with the confidence, critical thinking skills, and mathematical ability to last a lifetime.
