So, I’ve lived in Roslindale for years but never at here. It looked run down and I didn’t think it was open. One day at work a colleague invited me to lunch in her room. It was chinese food and it was good. She told me where she got it from and I was shocked when she said Triple Eatery. She ordered from there a few more times and still it was good. So, I took a chance and ordered from there myself a few times. Well, one day I went in to place and order and while I was there, one of the cooks was taking a batch of chicken wings out of the fryer and placing them into a bin. One wing fell on the floor and without hesitation, he picked it up and put it in the bin with the others. I stared at him like, «really?» He looked at me and didn’t even try to play it off. He kept looking at me and I kept looking at him. That was the last time I ever ordered food from that place. If he could do that while I was there looking right at him, imagine what he does when no one is looking. I’m all set with that place. For sure what he did was a health hazard. We take chances all the time when we eat out but that was just too much for me.

I really love triple eatery. They give so much food and it’s always a take out meal me and my friends look forward to. Their rice is delicious, just awesome.

Wonderful large portions that don’t skimp on higher-end ingredients. Family Style Tofu is a fave: they special order it for me because if my aversion to broccoli and it’s terrific. Two of us can eat well(with leftovers!) for less than 15 bucks: unheard of these days outside of Burger King or MacDonald’s! My only gripe: wish they’d use more authentic Chinese vegetables but they claim their public likes the Americanized versions of traditional dishes. Low overhead is one of the keys to their affordability– pretty sure the store has no central heat!

It’s a hit or miss with this place. On a good day there food can be easily compared to New York City’s Chinese Food(which is the best). Triple Eatery’s chicken wings are an exact replica of how chicken wings at a Chinese food establishment should be cooked(with flour). The fried rice is almost as yellow as I would like it but hey it beats other places that get soy sauce happy and make their fried rice a terrible dark brown color. Great portions; I always go with the combination plate consisting of pork fried rice, beef and broccoli and two chicken wings. Hate their location but honestly great food because it reminds me of home(New York City) on a good day.

The food here is ok. Nothing to rant and rave about. The only reason I’m leaving a review is to complain about their customer service. It sucks. They seem like it’s a pain to do business with people.

The worst customer service ever. I ordered my food online and was given a pick up time of 6:45pm. I get there 15 minutes late and still had to wait an additional 45 minutes just to receive my food. You get to the counter and they act like you don’t exist. Only giving them the two stars for the okay food. Other than that, shitty service.

Just because we are talking only through the phone doesn’t mean they can be mean and mad to their customers. Worst customer service ever… I don’t usually complaint about customer service, especially restaurants(just because I used to work as a server and a hostess) But the lady who picked up the phone was keep saying«What» whenever she didn’t understand what I said which is whatever. But she suddenly cut me off in the middle of what I was saying and says«hold on hold on I’m busy». It was right after she asked me what I just said to her. I do like their food but the way they talk to the customer through the phone was never satisfying. Is it because we are not speaking to each other face to face? I don’t think I’m going to order deliveries from here anymore.

pretty much your standard american chinese place — don’t go in expecting blow-your-mind(or healthy) food — but it’s slightly above average for what it is. The interior is, um… sparse. people at the counter are friendly. The«lunch special» is enough food to feed a small army. they do all the typical stuff pretty well. They often have Lobster specials — but I haven’t been tempted to try it. Ingredients seem to be fresh.

very tasty, awesome veggie fried rice and veggie egg rolls. had other items and they were pretty good. 4 stars not 5 because the food has been tasty as expected about 85% of the time, not 100%. I ordered once last year and didn’t really eat it. Wish I could remember what that one snafu item was. anywhoo: most likely you’ll get a yummy, tasty, quick, unhealthily-delicious meal.

Personally I found Triple Eatery to be very tasty. I usually go to Dragon Star in Brookline(Washington Square) but didn’t want to make the trip. Found Triple Eatery online and stepped out on a whim. Black beans were in the lobster sauce — a plus. Non greasy crab rangoon filled just right. The rice was nicely flavored and had enough extras in it so you didn’t feel cheated. And the shrimp! Triple Eatery doesn’t use those teeny canned shrimp like other places. Their shrimp are teenagers! Not fully grown but not infants. A nice surprise. I would definitely go there again. I ordered online and delivery was fast and accurate. Thanks Triple Eatery!

Great food… tons of options!!! The service is much friendly from what I experienced back about 10 years ago… yes, I’m a life long Rosy resident. Favorite dishes include the beef teriyaki and the chicken wings.

I have patronized this restaurant for over a decade, but the food I ordered from them last night was probably the worst food I’ve ever eaten from their place. Granted it was a very busy night and the turnaround time was quick, they didn’t take the time to cook the food properly. I ordered a pupu platter, fried rice, and sesame chicken. What wasn’t undercooked(doughy chicken fingers) was overcooked(tough ribs). The rice was inexplicably a yellow/brown color and tasted horrible. I’m all set with that spot. If rather make the hike to a decent dine-in Chinese spot then spend $ 50 on crap in this place again.

One of the best chinese food spots in the Roslindale area. Management must have changed over the last year or so. Friendly staff when coming in to order. Food is always great and has been for years. There’s always a spot in the parking lot available. I just wish it wasn’t so cold in there. Even the employees are wearing winter coats most of the year! There are only one or two tables there so definitely not a place to sit and eat-Take out or delivery only.

This place is pretty standard americanized chinese food. Egg rolls, teriyaki sticks, fried rice, lo mein, etc. They’ve got all the standard fare you’d expect, at standard prices. I really don’t have anything to elaborate on, other than they’ve got a parking lot, they deliver and it’s really tiny and gross inside(you don’t want to eat there). Plus: I’ve never gotten food poisoning from them. The guys/gals that work the counter aren’t really the friendliest in the world, they’re down to business and don’t take it personal if they ignore you for 5 minutes while they finish up whatever they’re doing — phone call, bagging stuff up, yakking to the cook in the back. They pretty much act like you don’t exist until they’re ready to deal with you. Just expect and accept it. That’s all I’ve got, folks.

When it comes to delivery Chinese, Triple Eatery can’t be beat. Sure, lots of other places have some game, but these guys are in a class of their own. To be fair, I’ve never set foot in the place and probably never will. But that’s exactly the point, right? When I order, it shows up fast. Like, really fast. Sometimes as fast at 15 – 20 minutes. Nice. And the food is great. Their Singapore Rice Sticks are my favorite in the city. Pure greatness. Their peking dumplings are not the best, but they recently seem to have changed the recipe for those, so I’ll be ordering them a few more times to see how my opinion changes. All in all, just solid Chinese take out that leaves you happy and content with no grossness factor whatsoever. That’s a win. On top of that, their prices are great compared to some other local joints and their service is STELLAR. The one time I had an issue, they literally apologized on the phone for 5 minutes straight and offered me a future free delivery meal. The audible agony coming across makes it totally clear just how seriously they take their repeat customers, which I very much appreciate.

Healthiest?! I’ll give you a Funny vote for that one. This is classic fast Chinese food. It rivals Food Wall, not Seven Star Bistro. Not quite as greasy as Food Wall, but it’s heavy enough to stick around a while. Which is not an insult, I love that kind of Chinese food. You’re not gonna chow down on an order of chicken and broccoli and then spring up and run a 5k. You are going to sink into your sofa and watch a few episodes of Law & Order. As it should be! Seriously, there are no surprises when you order from Eatery x3. You’ll get your chicken fingers and they will be exactly what you thought they’d be. Generously breaded pseudo corn dogs. This place is reliable, friendly, and very quick with the delivery. I’d dissuade you from going into the actual restaurant since it’s a pretty depressing hole, reminiscent of East Ocean/Oriental Kitchen in JP. But, looks aside, I totally dig the Triple E.

Love Triple Eatery! This place doesn’t look promising on the outside, but am I ever glad we took a chance on it. Not only do you get very generous portions for a very good price, and they’re super quick and the staff are nice as well. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like from here yet, and they’ve even changed my mind about a couple things I used to dislike. I’ve lived out of Roslindale for over a year now, and I genuinely miss their General Tso’s chicken and Szechuan dumplings in hot oil! I think someone else mentioned that their rice portions are too small, which is definitely true, so be sure to ask for a large order.

Okay. I’ve driven right past this place for the past 2 years. Today, I had a craving for American Chinese food, Googled for some places in Rosi, this one had good overall reviews, so I drove up and they did not disappoint. I got prompt & courteous service. I wanted to modify my order 5 minutes after ordering and they were fine with it. That was kool. Finally, my order was read back to me before being handed my food, and it’s been some of the lightest, great tasting fast foods around!
