For over 30 years, J&P Cleaners has strived to provide superior customer service as well as professionally cleaned clothing. Aside from dry cleaning, we also offer services such as alterations, rug/​carpet cleaning, fur/​suede/​leather cleaning, wedding gown cleaning and preservation, etc.

Newly added services include Vigo (Western Union) money transfer, Notary Public (by appointment), and a specialist in income taxes and immigration papers.

History

Established in 1950.

J&P Dry Cleaners has been family owned and in the Roslindale for over 30 years. It was established sometime around the 1950s. It has gone through various management, but it has lasted the longest under the ownership of José Vargas. He and his wife Myra Vargas decided to purchase the cleaners and fulfill their lifelong goal of opening up their own small business. The cleaners has currently undergone renovations.

José has been in the dry cleaning industry since the early 90s and has always done his absolute best to deliver the best quality service. It wasn’t until the owners at that time decided to sell that he, along with his wife, decided to purchase it. He oversees every minute detail, from the way the clothes are pressed to making sure that all customers gets the same excellent service every visit.
