Established in 1992.

I Started The Gratefuldog In 1992, At The Time There Were Only A Handful Of Local Trainers In Th Metro Boston West Area, The Options Were Mostly ‘Club Style’ Training. After A Several Year Apprenticeship, I Opened The Gratefuldog. I Have Taught All Levels Of Dog Training Both In Group and In Private Settings.

I found myself in my late 20’s, a struggling artist, working in a family business. I was fascinated with competitive dog training and trained my Gordon Setters under some of the most prestigious competitive trainers on the East coast. earning titles with my Gordon’s was a thrill! Enthusiasm is contagious and I could not wait to share my knowledge with pet owners, applying the techniques we use in competition to family-​pet dog training!

20+ years and thousands of dogs later, I’m even more fascinated and enthusiastic about training dogs!
