My roommate and I searched for months to find a place we both liked that was in the area and price range we wanted. We could not find the right place until we stumbled across A Plus Realty. We had a wonderful experience with Rafael. The apartment matched the photos & description online to a «T». It was right in the neighborhood we wanted, our price range and had almost every thing on our wish list for the perfect apartment.
The application process was simple & straight forward as was the lease signing. We really wanted to be able to move in by the first of the month and time was running short & he was able to make that happen for us. We’d had a number of bad experiences with realtors not responding to our initial inquiries, Rafael was a breath of fresh air, the simple fact the apartment was everything we were looking didn’t hurt.
I would recommend A Plus Realty Group to anyone & everyone I know looking. Everyone we’ve met from the office has been pleasant, helpful & friendly & knowledgeable. Next time I need s realtor I know who I’ll call; hopefully that won’t be for a while.

We had a WONDERFUL experience with A Plus Realty. My wife and I rented a beautiful apartment through Rafael Hernandez, and the process could not have been easier. My wife found the apartment listing on Craigslist on a Saturday and upon inquiry, was contacted by Rafael almost immediately. Two hours later, we were viewing the apartment onsite with Rafael. He was not pushy and we never felt pressured by him.
We moved pretty quickly at that point: the next morning (Sunday) we called Rafael and let him know we wanted to apply for the unit, got all our paperwork turned in by Monday morning, and got a phone call from Rafael by end of day Monday verbally letting us know the landlord approved our application. Through this whole process, Rafael was always available by phone and text (also through email, but I’d suggest contacting via phone or text for a more immediate response time). We really appreciated how quickly he was able to communicate with the landlord, and could tell they had a good working relationship especially given that they intially requested an immediate/​next month move in date from tenants, we got them to agree to push the move in date back a month, and then got them to push the date back up half a month. All in all, Rafael was VERY responsive to our limitations given our current lease, and (successfully) did everything in his power to meet our needs. We could also tell that he was concerned not just with ensuring that prospective tenants could pay, but also that the tenant and landlord would be a good match.
One thing I would add: it took Rafael a week to deposit our holding fee check and have us actually sign the lease, but we would stress to anyone worried about this that Rafael is VERY professional and true to his word! It did take a few days to see the apartment listings actually taken offline, but we were never in jeopardy of having the apartment taken out from under our feet. This was our first time working with Rafael, but we trust him as a realtor, would absolutely recommend him to friends, and would use him again (though we wouldn’t plan to anytime soon… we love the apartment we just rented!).

I am a landlord and have used A+ Realty to rent my property for the last ten years. Rafael has done an amazing job getting me great tenants and help keep my tenants happy. I love being able to reach Rafael whenever I have a question or need help. I feel my tenants can do the same.
As any landlord would contest things break in the apartment and need to be replaced. Rafael always gives great advice and connects me to the people to take care of the issue.
If I was a tenant or landlord I would 100% use Rafael.

Working with Rafael from A Plus Realty was the best experience. Four girls trying to find an apartment in Boston can be very hard, but Rafael always showed us apartments that were in our price range, in the neighborhood we were searching, and he always took into consideration what we were looking for in an apartment. The pictures Rafael posted were accurate and helpful. On top of that, he was always on time for appointments and extremely responsive. This goes a long way as we saw about 20 apartments in a two week period with various brokers, but were never given the respect we got from Rafael. If you need help finding a place, A Plus is the place to use!

I had an awful experience with A Plus Realty. The owner assigned me to his agent Manny. At first was great and very responsive however when I finally found a house I wanted to put an offer on, Manny’s green colors showed time and time again. He apparently has been in realty for three years but I felt like I knew more than him, it was very very stressful.
If you happen to be lucky and no challenges present themselves in an offer, these guys might be for you. Unfortunately, a lot of challenges presented themselves during my sale and every time I looked to Manny for guidance all I got was crickets. My sale was dragged out weeks and weeks and I blame my realtor for a lot of that. Manny didn’t get me the answers or documents we needed in a timely manner. He relied on everyone else to get us what we needed, which meant no one was helping to move the sale along. When I got fed up with people not stepping up and doing their job, I had to step in and put heat on people. Every day it was one frustration after another.
Another part of the problem was the lawyer Luigi R. Petruzziello, Esq., which Manny recommended. If you ever are offered the opportunity to work with Luigi — run. He is extremely lazy and TWICE asked me to correct HIS mistakes when developing condo documents. That is extremely unprofessional.
So many of my friends asked if I was going to switch realtors and if I could have I 100% would have. However, I felt like I was too far into the process and things would be set back more than they were, so I just had to stick it out and hope it would all come together. The final kicker was when a co-​worker was asking me when my walk through was. I had no idea what she was talking about and though it involved the closing office. I called my closing lawyer and she said I should absolutely do a walk through and to call my realtor ASAP. I was supposed to close in 4 hours and when I called Manny to ask him about a walk through, he acknowledged he just forgot to arrange it for me. He FORGOT. This is his job and he forgot.
I realize now it’s common knowledge to ALWAYS have a walk through with your realtor and my realtor just plain forgot. All Manny cared about that point was the commission check. He barely gave me a congratulations when I finally got the keys. I hope he is spending the $$$ he made off me well! If commission was based on performance he certainly wouldn’t have taken home much of anything.
